Anyone else notice the scarcity of articles on this particular topic? I actually suspected something like this will likely happen due to the nature of the contest and a lot of people will find it hard to come up with five individuals they will say are their favorites, especially if you also include the part where you have to talk about these individuals and their post that had a huge impact on you.
Well, this wasn't too difficult for me because I do take note of articles I read on this platform and I keep in mind the names of the authors of articles that tickle my fancy. I met be reading an article and I will just think; "wow, who is this person? They have a unique way of writing", and with that, I look them up and start looking out for their articles next time. And with that, I have been able to come up with 5 influencers who frequently deliver quality posts.
Princess Busayo (
)
From the few articles I have come across in this current contest, there's one name that's on everyone's lips and that is princess busayo. I'm not surprised because when I initially saw this topic, the first name that came to mind was also hers and you will understand why if you're familiar with her articles. I know her from another blogging platform and I can remember my first impression of her was "wow, this girl is good".
My early days of blogging were spent reading her articles and incorporating some of her style of writing into mine for example; I learned how to structure my articles into short blocks of paragraphs from her, I mean it makes it easier to just skim through articles without making it feel like a lot of work. A lot of her articles have had a huge impact on me but if I'm to be specific, then I will go with:
A true story of how she was transformed from being almost a thug
Before reading that story, I never knew that side of her existed and I remember asking her "princess, you got f9 parallel in waec? I find that hard to believe" and rightly so because I know her to be a very intelligent lady. From her story, I got to know that she was in a dark place back then but fortunately, she was able to turn her life around (read the article to understand what I'm talking about). I read that article like I was going to write an exam about it afterward 😆 it was so interesting and filled with lots of moral lessons.
Emreal (
)
I will describe this guy with one word; funny! His articles are always funny and interesting (in my humble opinion) and whenever I'm scrolling through my field and see his article, I immediately click it. I have said a couple of times that I love laughing and who wouldn't want to read a funny article? He never disappoints in that aspect. And he also has a good way of incorporating emojis into his works which inspired me to also do the same coz if you check my earlier articles, I barely used emojis (even though I totally love them 😉)
Another interesting thing about him is how he always makes his comment section interesting. Whether he is just commenting on your article or he is replying to your comment, he always does it with a lot of charisma and can keep the conversation going. One of his articles I love is:
I would bring spiderman
While most people usually focused on the superpowers of heroes, he had other plans for wanting to bring spiderman to our world and that's love and compassion. He wrote wonderful content about love and compassion and from what I read, it shows he is someone who genuinely loves the world and wants to see it get better. It was indeed an interesting read for me and I enjoyed every part of it.
Bruno kema (
)
I used to see him frequently in my articles always dropping fascinating comments and with time I started noticing him in other people's articles as well and I kept wondering; "who is this guy and how is he always active?". Then one day I read one of his articles and as usual, I had to go to the discord channel to submit my entry for that contest and mention the people I supported, that was when I noticed he is one of the mods in the community. "Now it makes sense 😆", I said to myself.
Bruno is one of the most highly intelligent authors we have here on hive and it's evident by his articles. He has an unbiased way of tackling any topic that is based on an argument and he doesn't fail to point out the good and bad sides of that topic. That was exactly what he did in one of his articles which I will say is my favorite:
School Is Not For Everyone, I guess...
While most people were leaning to one side of the argument, he brought out the merits and demerits of free education, then he concluded with his honest opinion on the issues after comparing the merits and demerits. The article was indeed a very interesting read for me and it gave me another line of thoughts to follow when it comes to free education, as I was only looking at the positive aspect without considering the negative effects.
Nkemakonam (
)
This is another big name that is on everyone's lips and it's so because she's also a versatile author who is very good at writing and doesn't fail to deliver quality content to her audience. Whenever I'm scrolling through contest entries and I come across her name, I already know it will be an interesting read and I waste no time in going through the article. One of her articles I love is:
The future...
One of the things she said in the article that I like is "Your future can also be great if you have great information. At times, your circle of friends matters; there are some people whose their paths and yours will cross, only a piece of information from them will change your future for good". I couldn't agree more with this quote and rightly so because in this present age and time, information is power.
Don't be surprised if that quote becomes popular in the future. I mean, you can just come across an article at one point in the year 2030 with something like:
Your future can also be great if you have great information. At times, your circle of friends matters; there are some people whose their paths and yours will cross, only a piece of information from them will change your future for good ~ Nkemakonam, 2023

Another topnotch author with a good sense of humor, I always find her articles to be interesting and when there's room for it, also funny 😆 she has a good mastery of English and isn't afraid to throw in a few jokes to make her articles lively and fun, sometimes there are very subtle that some people won't catch it but as someone who has a high sense of humor, I do notice them, just like what she did in her article: Everyone loves free shopping.
Generally speaking, one of her articles that I love is:
What work best for me when preparing for exams and that's mostly because I could relate well to the tips and tricks she talked about because it's something I also use and also because I learned a few things from that article. She went into detail about the ways she prepares for an examination and it's obvious that she truly wants other people to pick up a trick or two from her that can help them in their studies.
Conclusion
This is probably the longest article I have written this year and at one point I had to cut out some parts of it because it would have ended even longer than this. This community is filled with great authors and everyone has their unique style of writing but these authors I have mentioned appeal more to me and as usual, these things are subjective and depend on who you ask. But generally speaking, they are exceptional, especially the ones that are on everyone's lips. it looks like you have basically become a celebrity over here 😆
