Our walk around New Athos began long before this Wednesday.
In the beginning, we just stopped in this wonderful town and walked to the city park with palm trees and swans in the ponds.
We could not help but visit the New Athos Monastery and admire its beauty and grandeur. By the way, the first photo today is a view of it from the top of Anakopia Mountain.
Наша прогулка по Новому Афону началась задолго до этой среды.
Вначале мы просто заехали в этот чудесный городок и прошлись до городского парка с пальмами и лебедями в прудах.
Мы не могли не посетить Новоафонский монастырь и не полюбоваться его красотой и величием. Кстати, первое фото сегодня, это вид на него с вершины Анакопийской горы.

The top offers interesting views of the mountains and the sea. But while we were rising, the sun also continued its way up the sky. After the rain, there was a lot of moisture and everything together formed a kind of haze, behind which small details and the horizon are hidden. To be on the safe side, I processed these pictures in monochrome.
Сверху открываются интересные виды на горы и море. Но пока мы поднимались, солнце тоже продолжало путь наверх небосклона. После дождя было много влаги и всё вместе образовало некое марево или дымку, за которой скрываются мелкие детали и горизонт. На всякий случай я обработал эти снимки в монохроме.
I took all these pictures while standing on the observation deck of the fortress tower. For some reason, I did not shoot the site itself. At that time, I did not upload my photos anywhere and did not expect a report. I was just filming something as a keepsake. These are not thoughtful photographs that can be attributed to a particular genre. This is just amateur photography for myself.
Все эти снимки я сделал стоя на смотровой площадке башни крепости. Почему-то я не снимал саму площадку. В то время я никуда не выкладывал свои фото и не предполагал репортажа. Просто снимал что-то на память. Это не продуманные фотографии , которые можно отнести к какому-то жанру. Это просто любительская съёмка для себя.

They experienced the flourishing of the kingdom, robberies, fires and complete decline to oblivion. I think that the vandals have put their hand here. And besides, something was destroyed on purpose, as, for example, it was done during the war in Syria. A modern war that has not ended even now. There are forces in the world that are not comfortable with the true history of mankind. Manuscripts, artifacts and entire cities are being destroyed. But let's not talk about sad things.
К сожалению, это всё, что осталось от крепости и храма внутри неё. Останки храма я покажу позже. Эти камни многое повидали на своём веку. Они познали расцвет царства, грабежи, пожары и полный упадок вплоть до забвения. Я думаю, что и вандалы приложили сюда свою руку. И кроме того, что-то уничтожалось намерено, как, например, это делалось во время войны в Сирии. Современной войны, которая не закончилась и сейчас. Есть в мире силы, которым не удобна подлинная история человечества. Уничтожаются рукописи, артефакты и целые города. Но не будем о грустном.
