Wednesday Walk: Melting Rainbows
It's been incredibly cold around here lately that's for sure! I know Jay knows how that is, being in Massachusetts as well! We got this really incredible window of good weather the other day and we took full advantage of it!
We went out to the lake as a way to get out of the house and enjoy some of the beautiful weather. It jumped up to about 48 degrees! It was amazing for sure lol helps to have these days in the cold winter months so that we can get a mental refresh and get a little bit of Vitamin D, something sorely needed living in the colder climes!
It was really fun that we got a chance to see a random winter rainbow! I wasn't expecting this at all that's for sure!
When we were walking around the lake, I didn't even see it but our son yelled look over there! A rainbow!
I was certainly surprised but I really enjoyed it! It was great to be out in the nice weather but it was a special bonus to see a rainbow while we were out. That's not something I've seen many times in the winter!
Hopefully the next thing we see this winter is some cool thunderstorms! Wintertime thunder is definitely a lot of fun because of the crazy temperature differences that happen with that type of stuff.
