Walking alone makes you feel good, but walking together replenishes well-being.
Of all places I could have visited, this beautiful spot near our school wasn't on my bucket list before. Ironically, I have been to some far tourist destinations, but with this hidden gem in our place, I couldn't spare time until, one day, I asked my students if they knew which way to Tinubdan. Do you know the way we can make it there? Is it far from our school? Is it safe from any foreign objects? They smiled and asked me why I was asking. I told them I wanted to visit and witness its beauty. I am thankful that out of 9 students, 1 had been there many times. Worry no more. Come, and walk with us as we sojourn Tinubdan, Spring at Ilihan, Tabogon, Cebu.
👉Starting Point...
As I gazed upon the luminous sun and blue skies, my heart filled with gladness and leaped for joy. Oh, what a happy day. I suddenly became more excited as I chased the green views onwards. I can't contain myself from moving on to reach our destination. Have you tried that feeling even once?
On the left side, I saw some trees with green leaves dancing in the air. Breathing the fresh air and embracing the cold air relieved any stress. The mountains winked and whispered to me to keep going. Oh, what a happy sight.
On the right side, the sky prattled to me that life is beautiful and peaceful. We have to live according to what happiness we can ever define. Be happy; then you'll make people merry as well. How about you?
🚶Moving on...
When we started to go down, it was easy. The feeling was light. I told myself this was a bit of an easy way. The green grass and weeds said hello as if they were saying there are great things you'll witness as you go along. But.
💪Challenges...
The challenges have just started. We should cross a bamboo bridge. I evaluated it to see if it was not that dangerous. Thankfully, it's safe. In life, there were doubts if we made things possible. Even so, if we try, we'll never know if we arrived at the safest destination.
If going down was just a piece of cake, then going up was hard. Catching my breath in the middle of the blazing sun was exhausting. Haha. Maybe, I am aging already, or I should walk the same way as this. How much more to a steeper road? 🤣
😌A relief...
After that arduous walk, I'd been through a while ago, at last, we're in just a short while reaching Tinubdan Spring. Patience is the key.
🍀Finally, Here I Come.
One student asked me, where's the spring? I just explained they developed it. They made a tank for the people to utilize more water from the primary source. Many of them come here to take a bath and wash their clothes. That is for free. Everyone can use it.
I found this spot an art. The yellow and green leaves found on the clear water symbolize the chaos you have endured resulting in the domination of life's peace and order. We started there for approximately 15 minutes and decided to leave after.
👈Going back...
Before I forget, as we went back, we brought a lot of amorsiko clinging in our pants. It seems that they want to go with us.🤣
Here's the evidence. 🤣 Nevertheless, the walk we had today was productive. We've learned a lot of things and realized about life.
Capture the moment. Get the most out of it and walk with joy.
See you around.
