[ENG/ESP] Anatomy practice - Sketching portraits // Práctica de anatomía - Bocetando retratos.

Sometimes we are our own limit, we believe that something does not work well because we can not, because we were not born for that, or for many other reasons without having put enough effort or the necessary practice and concentration ... Personally, I have always thought that when we want to achieve something we must practice it once, twice, five, ten and as many times as necessary, how can we improve if not?

What is the reason for this reflection? Well, it comes from my own experience, where I usually get frustrated for not achieving the finish I would like in my drawings, so I try to motivate myself with this reflection whenever necessary.

A veces somos nuestro propio límite, creemos que algo no nos sale bien porque no podemos, porque no nacimos para eso, o por muchas más razones sin haberle puesto suficiente empeño o la práctica y concentración necesaria… En lo personal, siempre he pensado que cuando queremos lograr algo debemos practicarlo una, dos, cinco, diez y todas las veces que sean necesarias, ¿cómo podremos mejorar si no?
¿A qué viene esta reflexión? Bueno, viene de mi propia experiencia, donde suelo frustrarme por no lograr el acabado que me gustaría en mis dibujos, por lo que trato de motivarme con esta reflexión siempre que sea necesario.

In this opportunity I bring you more sketches where I put into practice the drawing of faces, this time, in different angles.

En esta oportunidad les traigo más bocetos donde pongo en práctica el dibujo de rostros, esta vez, en dispuestos en distintos ángulos.

I tried to draw more male faces than female, since I don't usually draw many men, so it is difficult for me to draw their silhouette and facial structure naturally, and, on the recommendation of one of my drawing teachers, I tried to get out of my comfort zone and put into practice some element that I'm not used to draw.

Traté de dibujar más rostros masculinos que femeninos dado que no suelo dibujar muchos hombres, por lo que se me dificulta trazar con naturalidad tanto su silueta como estructura facial, y, por recomendación de uno de mis profesores de dibujo, busqué salir de mi zona de confort y poner en práctica algún elemento que no estoy acostumbrada a dibujar.

One of the most difficult positions to draw was the face in upper and lower angles, where the face is practically disfigured and you must be very careful to capture very well the proportions in which each part of it is seen (eyes, nose and lips, essentially), so that the drawing is understandable.

Una de las posiciones que más se me dificultó dibujar fue la del rostros en ángulos superior e inferior, donde el rostro prácticamente se desfigura y se debe estar muy atento a plasmar muy bien las proporciones en las que son vista cada parte del mismo (ojos, nariz y labios, esencialmente), para que el dibujo sea entendible.

Although they are simple sketches, without many details or shadows, (made with drawing pencils H, 2B and 4B), it took me about four days to finish them and it is likely that I will continue with the practices in the following days.

Aunque son bocetos sencillos, sin muchos detalles ni sombra, (realizados con lápices de dibujo H, 2B y 4B), me tomó cerca de cuatro días terminarlos y es probable que siga con las prácticas en los siguientes días.
