In our era, many people see money as the greatest gift of God to man. Sadly, this idolization of money is one of the leading causes of crime in the world today. Because everyone wants to be rich by any means even if it means killing to get it.
Now, let me be clear I love money and I pray to be rich and famous one day. Money is a blessing from God to humanity. But I hold this belief firmly, one can only truly enjoy wealth when it comes from a legitimate and legal means. Money when earned honestly is a blessing. With it, you can meet your financial needs, care for your loved ones, and even extend a hand of kindness to others, take care of yourself, pursue your dreams. It provides comfort and helps you avoid unnecessary suffering, as long as what you desire can indeed be solved with money. I cannot deny that money does buy freedom freedom from constant anxiety about bills, healthcare, and education. Financial comfort may not guarantee happiness, but it removes many barriers to pursuing joy.
Genuine wealth brings peace because it is a gift from God and the gift of God as the Bible reminds us, adds no sorrow.
Yet, everything good has its disadvantages, and money is no exception. In my observation, one of the biggest drawbacks is that true friendship becomes rare. When you have money, many people gather around you, not necessarily out of love, but because of what they can gain. These fair-weather friends will sing your praises when you are able to give, but the moment your hand runs dry, they vanish. You may find yourself standing alone, realizing too late that loyalty and sincerity are priceless qualities money cannot buy.
But in our quest to make money, we must be guided so it doesn’t lead us into wrongdoing. Illegal wealth may look admirable from a distance but the person who owns it never finds true peace. It might meet immediate needs, but it cannot give lasting joy or inner satisfaction.
In my view money is a great asset but is a greater tool of joy, peace when it is gotten legitimately. Money turns into a trap when it comes from the wrong source, because dirty money never lets you have peace of mind. Take Yahoo for example yes, some people make quick cash from it, but that doesn’t make it right. They are always hiding from police or looking over their shoulders, sometimes even doing strange rituals just to keep the money flowing. And when others who admire them try to copy their lifestyle but can’t keep up, they often end up as victims. The truth is, easy money doesn’t teach you wisdom. When you don’t sweat for it, you don’t value it. This is why a lot of them waste it on flashy things, and before you know it, the money is gone and they are back to square one. But when you earn money the right way, you respect it, you invest it, and it keeps growing. Most importantly, it gives you peace of mind and real happiness.
WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON THIS,
Is money acquired legally the only one that can be enjoyed, or can both legal and illegal money be enjoyed
Thank you dear readers
