Finished Sensei fan art from No Longer Allowed in Another World anime. I made a manga review about it when I mentioned it getting an anime adaptation last February. For those watching the show without seeing the manga, the first few episodes are faithful to the source material so far.

Sensei's face is simple to render which posed a challenge on whether I should apply my own eye rendering style to it or just remain close to the source material. Since the piece is only made for fanart and practice purposes, I compromised with just focusing on other stuff that needs to more skill building.
I didn't want to spend too much time on the work since it's still just a practice piece aimed at gauging how far my cel shading, lighting and value practice has been. I can see a lot of errors even for the final piece which I'll try to reduce next time. The hands are probably the longest part to render and it still mocks me to this day.
A lot of my art time is spent just practicing the fundamentals in sketching and values rather than committing to a full piece like this.
