Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, los animes que tratan sobre onmyojis y demonios suelen ser muy interesantes puesto que su principal atractivo es ver a la humanidad haciendo frente a diferentes demonios, hoy hablaremos de una anime que trata exactamente de eso y me refiero por supuesto a Tokyo Ravens. Sin más que agregar preparen sus hechizos que vamos a ir a cazar algunos demonios.
Tokyo Ravens was written by Kohei Azano, was adapted into anime in 2013, directed by Takaomi Kanasaki and produced by 8-bit, it has 24 chapters of around 20 minutes in length. The story revolves around Tsuchimikado Harutora descendant of a family that practices the occult arts of onmyoji, despite his notorious ancestry Harutora is completely useless to be an onmyoji because he cannot see spiritual energy which makes him a normal boy. One day he meets again with Natsume, a girl who will be the next head of the Tsuchimikado family, but this meeting and various events will cause Harutora to decide to become onmyoji despite everything.
Tokyo Ravens fue escrita por Kohei Azano, fue adaptada al anime en 2013, dirigida por Takaomi Kanasaki y producida por 8-bit, cuenta con 24 capítulos de alrededor de 20 minutos de duración. La historia gira entorno Tsuchimikado Harutora descendiente de una familia que práctica las artes ocultas del onmyoji, pese a su notoria ascendencia Harutora es completamente inútil para ser un onmyoji debido a que no puede ver la energía espiritual lo que lo convierte en un chico normal. Un día se reencuentra con Natsume una chica que será la próxima cabeza de la familia Tsuchimikado pero dicho encuentro y diversos acontecimientos causaran que Harutora decida convertirse en onmyoji pese a todo.

Honestly, absolutely all the characters are completely unfortunate and boring, none of which is interesting in any way, so I will simply mention them to get rid of them: Harutora Tsuchimikado the unfortunate protagonist, Natsume Tsuchimikado the transvestite girl who will be the next head of the family and Tōji Ato a half-ogre who tries to be mysterious, there are more characters but they are garbage so I will not waste my time writing them or yours.
Sinceramente, absolutamente todos los personajes son completamente lamentables y aburridos, siendo que ninguno es interesante de ninguna manera por lo que simplemente los mencionare para sacármelos de encima: Harutora Tsuchimikado el protagonista lamentable, Natsume Tsuchimikado la chica travestí que será la próxima cabeza de la familia y Tōji Ato un semiogro que intenta ser misterioso, hay más personajes pero son basura así que no gastare mi tiempo escribiéndolos ni el de ustedes.
The soundtrack is very absent, the fights are very monotonous as there is no kind of melody that accompanies it or anything that resembles it, for its part the animation does not have anything that highlights it, at first there was a mixture between styles quite interesting but it was left out so it is a disgrace.
La banda sonora se encuentra muy ausente, las peleas son muy monótonas al no existir alguna clase de melodía que la acompañe ni nada que se le asemeje, por su parte la animación tampoco tiene nada que la destaque, en un principio había una mezcla entre estilos bastante interesante pero se dejó de lado por lo que es una desgracia.
The construction of the world is simply frightening since it explains absolutely nothing of what is happening, everything about the onmyoji, their fight, spells and others is mentioned far above, this causes the world in which everything takes place to feel totally unknown. This lack of information is quite frustrating since all the events that happen lose any kind of importance that they might have come to have because they are not explored in any way.
La construcción de mundo es sencillamente espantosa puesto que no explica absolutamente nada de lo que está pasando, todo respecto a los onmyoji, su lucha, hechizos y demás es mencionado muy por encima, esto provoca que el mundo en el que se desarrolla todo se sienta totalmente desconocido. Esta falta de información es bastante frustrante puesto que todos los hechos que suceden pierden cualquier tipo de importancia que pudiera haber llegado a tener debido a que no son explorados de ninguna manera.
The plot is not saved from falling out of favor, everything has a too boring and slow nature, the above is due to that combination of onmyojis with school life is simply bad. Most of the time they are in school without anything interesting in between and when the anime tries to give something interesting it does it in the worst possible way since everything feels too forced and without any kind of preamble, that lack of fluency is due Because the information they add feels incomplete, a conspiracy of different people arises but it quickly turns into a lot of more nonsensical things that remain half done. To be honest while I was watching it, I got to ask if I was watching a second season by mistake because I felt that they were not explaining anything (I wish it had been that). Finally I will mention the battles that although they are not bad, they are not good, they do not feel epic or exciting at all, they just recite spells and invoke things without generating any kind of impression.
La trama no se salva de caer en desgracia, todo tiene una índole demasiado aburrida y lenta, lo anterior se debe a esa combinación de onmyojis con vida escolar es simplemente mala. La mayor parte del tiempo están en la escuela sin nada interesante de por medio y cuando el anime intenta dar algo interesante lo hace de la peor manera posible puesto que todo se siente demasiado forzado y sin ninguna clase de preámbulo, esa falta de fluidez se debe a que la información que agregan se siente incompleta, se plantea una conspiración de diferentes personas pero esta se vuelve rápidamente un montón de más cosas sin sentido y que quedan a medio hacer. Para ser sincero mientras la veía me llegue a preguntar si estaba viendo por error una segunda temporada porque sentía que no estaban explicando nada (Ojala hubiese sido eso). Por último mencionare las batallas que si bien no son malas tampoco son buenas, no se sienten épicas ni emocionantes en lo absoluto solo van recitando hechizos e invocando cosas sin generar ninguna clase de impresión.
The characters follow the dire line of disaster, they are too generic and with an immense lack of personality, some have their own problems but these are usually not as important as the anime wants to believe and they are also solved simply for the sake of it. There are some twists of a screw for some characters but these feel bland and forced, by not detailing their characters all kinds of revelation about them becomes absolutely irrelevant, finally I will add how the protagonist is retarded and takes too long to realize things very Simple so stupid drama is generated unnecessarily.
Los personajes siguen la nefasta línea del desastre, son demasiado genéricos y con una falta de personalidad inmensa, algunos tienen sus propios problemas pero estos suelen no ser tan importantes como el anime quiere hacer creer y también son resueltos simplemente porque sí. Existen algunos giros de tuerca para algunos personajes pero estos se sienten sosos y forzados, al no detallar a sus personajes toda clase de revelación sobre estos se vuelve absolutamente irrelevante, por último añadiré como el protagonista es retardado y tarda demasiado en darse cuenta de cosas muy sencillas por lo que se genera drama estúpido sin necesidad.
Tokyo Ravens does not present the slightest intention of being even a decent anime, it gives a lot of focus to the school life of its characters and not to other aspects such as the conspiracy that is supposed to be important. I would say that their worst mistake is the lack of representation of danger, damn they are supposed to fight demons and that it is a high-risk profession but this is simply totally ignored, giving more prominence to the happy conspiracy than to evil spirits. For all the above mentioned it deserves a rating of 1 star out of 7, it is the worst exponent of the genre that I have seen and it is not worth it under any circumstances, if you want to see something of the same genre but better see Sousei no Onmyouji which is by far much more decent.
Tokyo Ravens no presenta ni la más mínima intención de ser siquiera un anime decente, le da mucho foco a la vida escolar de sus personajes y no a otros aspectos como a la conspiración que se supone que debería ser importante. Diría que su peor error es la falta de representación de peligro, carajo se supone que pelean contra demonios y que es una profesión de alto riesgo pero simplemente esto es ignorado totalmente, dándole más protagonismo a la dichosa conspiración que a los espíritus malignos. Por todo lo anterior mencionado merece una calificación de 1 estrella sobre 7, es el peor exponente del género que haya visto y no merece la pena bajo ninguna circunstancia, si quieren ver algo del mismo género pero mejor vean mejor Sousei no Onmyouji que es por lejos mucho más decente.
