It was a Saturday afternoon and political leaders gathered in unity to pay respect to the Queen of England. This was also another chance for the two presidents, Ramaphosa (South Africa) and Joe Biden (US) to catch up. The two promised to have each other's back and their friendship was envied by others. During this trip to the UK, they had planned to play golf in new york later during the week and both agreed to fly back to Johannesburg in South Africa by the end of the week. A few minutes later during their chat, Ramaphosa received a call and he was notified that the country was on Stage 6 load shedding (most people will find themselves without electricity for 6 hours on a day) and this was making news headlines. He proposed to cut the visit short and rather they play golf in South Africa instead of New York. Hearing the country was in severe electricity shortage, Joe hidden shook Ramaphosa's hand and said,
I'm sorry colleague, you gonna have to go alone for this one. Let's catch up in a zoom meeting, I'll be with you in spirit, you got this!
