Prompt First Sentence: Mindy McHorse took a big slurp from her first cup of coffee
She still considered it her life-giving liquid even though she was quite technically dead at the moment.
Glancing around the grand cafeteria this afterlife hotel thoughtfully had, Mindy couldn't help but reminisce the last decade she seemed to have spent here, just waiting for her turn to move on.
Today was that day though, so she was definitely enjoying this cup of coffee she was having. Who knows when she'll get to taste it again...

"Over 50 Hacks for a healthier Happier you," he screamed as he was waving the pamphlet in every bywalkers face
Mindy almost snorted out her coffee in laughter. She guessed some people, no matter how dead they are, couldn't seem to let go of the lifestyle they used to have when they were still alive.
Gently lowering her cup with a soft clack on the table, she suddenly felt restless. Where were they anyway?
That's when she heard the sharp clicking of heels coming her way.

a red scarf
Her red scarf. The one she knitted herself and planned to give to her baby girl. But that day never came.
But here she was now, her little girl wearing her red scarf.
Mindy glanced gratefully at the beautiful woman standing alongside her daughter; Ms. Natalia, she would forever be a mystery to Mindy and every ghost here in this place of eternal waiting.
"Mindy McHorse, someone will be waiting at the lobby to escort you two." Ms. Natalia afforded her a small, almost wistful smile before walking away.
Now left alone with her little girl, she smiled as she offered her outstretched hand, "It's time to go, Cassie."
