My parents were not the ones to appreciate my art. At least not to the point of buying it. Once my aunt offered to buy a log cabin I’d made as a diorama. In retrospect that makes no sense. Why in the world did that happen? Did she want… whatever. Moriarty. Mortimer. Mandy. Patinkin. I saw A think with Mandy Patinkin that made me like him. He’s a Christian, which is not my bag, but he was doing a thing talking to someone who was sick and loved him. ALso, I think I saw him post something about Gaza in support of Palestine, so that’s nice. It’s… kumquat cucumber cuddly monkeys sprung monkey. I had an EP by sprung monkey. I didn’t know what EPs were until I became a 30-something year old…maybe 40s? But I had had a bunch. It now occurs to me that they were probably less expensive, and so that’s why those were the CDs I bought. Honestly, I don’t care. I really only needed 15 minutes of music. Albums… whatevs. I once -
