Last night watching the last episode of Shark Tank Season 9, one of the sharks Robert Herjavec, said something that struck my chord, He said his dad told him " I have have been through hell, in order to give you better opportunities.
To give context, Robert Herjavec is Croatian immigrant, who migrated to Canada with his family when war broke out in Croatia. During the war his dad had been put into jail 23 times.
So when he said that, it resonated. I though to myself, my dad works so hard, so he could give a comfortable life for his wife and kids. I couldn't sleep pondering over it.
The whole night I was browsing through my phone, scrolling on Instagram especially. I was so into it, I didn't realize it was 3 am. I got upset with myself. I told me " I can't waste time like this, I need to get proper sleep in order to be productive"
I then sent out a story on Instagram saying, I am going on a digital detox process. Later, uninstalled it.
Today was my first day without the only social media platform I use. I could notice me, unlocking my phone and pressing the area where the Instagram icon existed. #withdrawalsymptoms.
Made a schedule for my Vape Intake as well. I am used to chain vaping, which slows my productivity down. A schedule was necessary.
I had saved time today by not being on Instagram. What could I do with so much time? I was hungry, so I put on an apron and cooked my version of everyday dish in India - Nestle Maggi Noodles. I put on an apron after 2 months to be honest.

Evening, and Kiran called me for a ride to a near by beach. I was reluctant at first cause
and Kiran they have Beast Machineries( Harley 48 1200cc and KTM Duke 390cc), and I have a 115cc Yamaha RayZ Scooter(Moped).
Yamaha RayZ 115cc
KTM & Imagesource - & Harley 48 - Kiran
I anyhow joined them for the ride, somehow I managed to keep up with their speed, Or another case could be, they slowed down out of pity for me😂.
At the beach, we had conversations about food, marriage, business & money. Good talks. Success talks is what I like to call them.
On the way back, I noticed a puncture on my scooter. I then had to carefully and slowly ride to a near by petrol station and It was kind of to follow me at the speed, having the machine he has
Unfortunately, the personnel at the petrol bunk couldn't help as the air inlet of the tyre had come out of place and all garage's were closed. We decided to take a risk and ride little further in order to reach the city border, so we could park it.
After a K.M or so, , asked me to stop and check if any further damage, upon checking, we found out parts were hitting the concrete.
Thankfully, we had stopped, right in front the Kawasaki showroom and service center. The showroom and the service center were closed, but a kind security guard was on his duty.
We requested him to keep my RayZ in the premises, he checked my scooter and readily agreed. Not everyday we meet such kind people.
Anyhow, tomorrow I have to pickup a mechanic and go there and fix my puncture.
Since, my scooter was parked, I didn't have a ride. Kiran's Harley didn't have a pilion seat.
I then had to sit on bike. It was a moment where I had to sacrifice my principle. Thats a story in itself for some other day. It has more to do with me then anything else.
I told myself, It's an emergency, don't be an asshole.
The day started of well, but had dipped later. I am proud of myself that, whatever happened today, I didn't let it effect my mood. I kept my calm and cool.
Thats It!
