Conexiones
La vida transcurre
y en mi imaginación,
las ideas van y vienen,
muchas de ellas se quedan,
forman raíces
y crecen hasta expandirse.
A veces sorprende,
todo el espacio
que con sus ramificaciones ocupan
y lo fuerte que pueden llegar a ser.
En otros casos,
no se desarrollan lo suficiente,
y se secan…
Así es la vida
en esta selva de pensamientos,
donde para bien o para mal,
sobreviven los que más alimente
Y aunque los más grandes
definen mi comportamiento,
los antiguos,
con sus profundas raíces,
marcan mi personalidad…
por ello,
no dejo de prestar atención
a los nuevos retoños,
desatan mi curiosidad
y brindan vitalidad
a este enorme bosque
de árboles nudosos
que es mi mente.

connections
Life goes by
and in my imagination
ideas come and go,
many of them stay,
form roots
and grow until they expand.
Sometimes it surprises,
all the space
they occupy with their ramifications
and how strong they can become.
In other cases,
they do not develop sufficiently,
and they dry up...
Such is life
in this jungle of thoughts,
where for better or worse,
survive those who feed the most.
And although the biggest ones
define my behavior,
the old ones,
with their deep roots,
mark my personality...
because of that,
I don't stop paying attention
to the new offshoots,
they unleash my curiosity
and bring vitality
to this huge forest
of gnarled trees
that is my mind.
