I can't set a foot or I'm followed. Folowed by cats, followed by chickens and they all only want one thing from me which is... food.
It's not that they are hungry since as soon I leave they are gone, but seeing me = food!
Not that they always like what I give which means it's more the idea of getting something.
I promised some chickens to a (ex) coworker of my youngest but he doesn't seem to be in a hurry (needs to clean up the dump he lives in and no, I won't do the job for him).
I decided to let five chickens walk freely through the garden. I believe they like it. This way I hope to save some time (not really yet but they can now and feed themselves) and make them happy.
Those cats my child found are still here and they do cause me extra work. The plan is to send them back outside but it takes till they get bigger and stronger. Do cats really grow that slow? So four gets follow me whatever I go even into the bathroom if they get the chance. Although, they can annoy me if they keep making noise and are begging for food I must say not one of them climbs on the furniture, stove or steals food. They know what's allowed and what not. Just like a dog they respond if you say no.
At times I feel like mother the goose when I walk and I'm followed by animals. What if I am, one day, one of these old cat-ladies surrounded by hundreds of cats living in a smelly place and there are more and more and there's no way out?
