Hello everyone 👧. This is my second entry for Sabahan Photo Contest with the theme of Your Favorite Traditional Food. As for this current theme, my favorite traditional food is Bambangan.
Hi semua👧. Ini merupakan penyertaan kedua sa kat pertandingan gambar Sabahan yang bertemakan makanan tradisi yang sa suka . Tuk tema ini, makanan tradisi yang suka ialah Bambangan
Bambangan is a fruit that is only found in Borneo. We usually eat the fruit with rice and more delicious when we eat it with salted fish 😋.
Bambangan adalah sejenis buah yang cuma boleh terdapat di Borneo. Buah ni selalunya dimakan bersama nasi dan lagi sedap kalo makan campur sama ikan masin 😋.
The shape and the fruit of Bambangan are similar to mango only the skin is in brown color. This fruit has usually been fermented and sold in containers at the market for an average of RM10.00 to RM15.00 each container.
However, my Mum prefers to buy the fruits and ferment the fruits herself at home as cheaper and more quantity to consume. The fermented Bambangan can be preserved for a long period may be more than 1 year in the fridge but my family usually finishes it faster 😅.
Bentuk buah dan isi Bambangan ni lebih kurang macam manga cuma tu kulit ja coklat kaler. Ni buah selalu kena jeruk dan dijual di tamu dalam kontainer dalam harga lebih kurang RM10.00 hingga RM15.00 satu balang.
Walaubagaimanapon, Mum sa selalu beli buah ni dan jeruk tu buah sendiri di rumah pasal lagi murah dan lagi banyak kuantiti tuk dimakan. Jeruk Bambangan ni boleh tahan lama barangkali lebih 1 tahun kalo letak dalam aisbox tapi keluarga sa selalu kasi abis cepat. Sadap ba tu 😅.
