Around three years ago, I went to Thailand with my friend. Even though that was my second time there but Thailand to me was still so new. We booked a flight to Thailand on a regular 5-day tour to Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Bangkok, and other places. I was very excited about the fun time we had at the Land of Smiles
We were on tour so everything was well-arranged. In this post, I would like to share with you a couple of stories and moments during the trip.
Why we went there?
Well, I and my friend were so absorbed in our work so that year summer we decided to spend some relaxative time in an exotic spiritual place and Thailand was the optimal choice. I've heard a lot about Thailand, It was considered to be the Land of Smiles. People were friendly. And they said that the arrangement of items in and around the pagodas and temples in Thailand could be very different depending on the sect. We were curious. So There we went.
Well we had to wake up at 1h30am for the bus to the airport to catch the flight at 2h30am (which was arranged by the tour)
I am not really sure about the time/place order so I'll write about what serves my mind best.
Well, I remember we had to wake up at 1h30am for the bus to the airport to catch the flight at 2h30am (which was arranged by the tour).
The Silver Lake Grape Farm in Thailand.
Silver Lake was built in 2002 and planted the first vines, the owners of this vineyard are Mr. Surachai Tangjaitrong and Ms. Supansa Nuangpirom.
The married couple created this vineyard, not for the tourism business. However, it had spontaneously attracted a lot of people to come over to admire the beauty of nature, and to drink grape juice which only cost around 1$.

This is an absolutely wonderful, heavenly place but I think I've lost ALL the pictures which I took at this vineyard so I might post some similar pictures above with sources.
Snake Farm
also known as the Royal Thai Snake Research Center, founded by King Rama IV, around 20km from Bangkok. In the spiritual culture of the Thai people, snakes are sacred animals, bringing good luck and blessings to the people.
Most of the snakes raised in the farm are very venomous

Here I could look at different types of snakes for the production of anti-venom serum as well as detox medicines and health supplements. After the hang-out, stories told, we were served with selling sessions. There I could buy supplements if needed, to detoxify the liver, treat acne, fight inflammation and symptoms of bad breath, sores,... at acceptable costs... very scary at first but also satisfying!
Wat Yannawa: Or Boat Temple
That was the most sacred temple in Thailand.
Khao Chi Chan Buddha
We didn't come here for relaxation like at the vineyard. And only had 45 mins to take pictures. That was all. but It was perfect, wasn't it. That was a very majestic mountain rumored by a legend that made people respect. Legend had it that one night appeared Buddha sitting on a lotus at night, the halo of the Buddha only shined bright for a moment and then went off. So Thai people put a lot of faith and often came there for praying.
As I was there, I could feel something peaceful and spiritual about the place, too. I'd love to come back there in near future but not on tour because I want to stay longer.
Transgender show
The theater where they performed
You might have heard of transgender culture and art in Thailand. There was a transgender show called "Tiffany show" on the tour, They were all beautiful and gorgeous. We weren't allowed to take pictures because the Thai Government wanted to protect their identity. You can google or Here if you want to book tickets to the show.
Others
I also went to other places which I didn't remember much details about. But I still keep some pictures.
Sriracha Tiger Zoo
There are two tigers in the picture. Guess. LOL
I just loved the heart :)))
Nong Nooch Garden
If you are a flower lover, please come!
LOL don't look at my duckie face
The hotel I stayed in, don't remember the name
Nigh life and Street food
Night life was nice
Had buffet in Baiyoke Sky Hotel in Bangkok, 78th floor. Nice experience.
The trip was more about Religion and culture. We visited a lot of temples. Even on the last day at the supermarket Big C for shopping, there was also a great, spiritual temple right nearby, crowded, at the intersection where a lot of people drove by. I heard that if we came there and prayed, your wishes would come true. (and If it really did, you must come back to show gratitude and offerings, or else, something bad would happen). I didn't go there because I preferred shopping. However, it was interesting to hear.
Why go on tour?
I mean, we only had 5 days on a tour so that meant we had to skip a lot of other attractions that Thailand was famous for. But we were okay with that. We had good food, a "top-notch" tour guide, some really amazing places, great nightlife too, all planned and organized. Since I didn't have to think much about financial issues thanks to the all-in-one package tour, so the trip was near to perfect. Now there is Covid-19. Sometimes I just wish I had a magic wand to kill them all LOL so we can travel again. But it's fine. I have Hive to keep "complaining" about that. Haha. Jk. :)))
