Today I present to you the Capital of Japan, Tokyo. One of the most populated cities in the world with 14 million inhabitants and is famous for its technology and nights with luminous signs.
On my trip in 2015 I had the opportunity to travel to the Country of the Rising Sun as a vacation with my cousins visiting relatives. We stayed for 21 days and most of our time we were staying in Yokohama, a city next to Tokyo, the city we are here to talk about today.
On numerous occasions we went to Tokyo since it is the place with the largest tourist places, greater number of sports stores, electronics, restaurants, etc. And we took the train there.
It is one of the cities with the largest number of international brands both in Clothing, Perfumes, household appliances, and for each brand there is its own building that has more than 5 floors each.
What stands out the most about this beautiful city are the nights, because the luminosity is such that it seems daytime, and also, we went in winter, so it got dark at 4 p.m. and you could see the light show.
One of the most visited attractions in Tokyo is the "Tokio Tower". Its design was inspired by the Eiffel Tower and was completed in 1958. At 333 meters tall, it was the tallest free-standing tower in the world when it was built.
Tokyo Tower is divided into three distinct sections. Foot Town is at the bottom of the tower and is a lively shopping area with cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops.
The Main Deck is 150 meters high and offers amazing views of the city and the "ground" with its transparent platform, not for the faint of heart.
But the most spectacular views are those from the Upper Deck. At a towering 250 meters high, this vantage point provides panoramic views of the metropolis and, weather permitting, the Skytree and even Mount Fuji on the horizon. .
Shibuya (渋谷) is one of Tokyo's most popular fashion and entertainment districts. And it is one of those iconic places among those who visit Japan, especially for its huge pedestrian crossing, which thousands of people cross daily.
Taking a photo with the statue of Hachiko, probably the most famous dog in Japan, is one of the most iconic images of having visited Shibuya.
Despite the death of his master, this little dog continued to wait for him for years in front of the Shibuya station. He showed such loyalty that this statue was erected in his memory and today Hachiko, or Hachiko the faithful dog, as he is known in Japanese (Chūken Hachikō, 忠犬ハチ公), it is one of the most famous meeting points in the Japanese capital.
And finally, it has restaurants of all kinds, from Japanese food, McDonalds, KFC, American food, Japanese fast food stalls and more.
Being Japanese descendants, we wanted to try things that we already knew in Argentina but made in Japan. And we went to a Japanese restaurant that served typical food from there.
We ordered Katsukare, which is panko breaded pork, covered with cheese, accompanied with Japanese rice and served with a broth called "Kare", which in my opinion is the best dish I've ever eaten in my life. It combines Pork, rice, and the Kare in winter is the best thing that has happened to my palate.
And for dessert we ordered something simple, strawberries with cream. They recommended this dessert to us because it was strawberry season in the artificial greenhouse that they created themselves. And the best of all is that it is very soft and does not fall heavy.

Hoy les presento a la Capital de Japón, Tokio. Una de las ciudades más pobladas del Mundo con 14 millones de habitantes y es famosa por su tecnología y noches con carteles luminosos.
En mi viaje en 2015 tuve la oportunidad de viajar al País del Sol Naciente en forma de vacaciones con mis primos en visita de familiares. Estuvimos 21 días y la mayoría de nuestro tiempo estuvimos alojados en Yokohama, una ciudad contigua a Tokio, la ciudad que hoy venimos a hablar.
En numerosas ocasiones fuimos a Tokio ya que es el lugar con mayores lugares turísticos, mayor cantidad de tiendas deportivas, electrónicas, restaurantes, etcétera. Y nos tomabamos el tren hacia allí.
Es una de las ciudades con mayor cantidad de marcas internacionales tanto de Ropa, como Perfumes, electrodomésticos, y de cada marca existe un edificio propio que tiene mas de 5 pisos cada uno.
Lo que mas destaco de esta hermosa ciudad son las noches, porque es tal la luminosidad que parece de día, y además, nosotros fuimos en Invierno, por lo que anochecía a las 4 p.m. y se podía ver el espectáculo lumínico.
Una de las atracciones más visitadas en Tokio es el "Tokio Tower". Su diseño se inspiró en la Torre Eiffel y se finalizó en 1958. Con 333 metros de altura, era la torre independiente más alta del mundo cuando se construyó.
La torre de Tokio se divide en tres secciones diferenciadas. Foot Town está al pie de la torre y es una animada zona comercial con cafeterías, restaurantes y tiendas de recuerdos.
La Cubierta Principal se encuentra a 150 metros de altura y ofrece asombrosas vistas de la ciudad y del «suelo» con su plataforma transparente, no apta para cardíacos.
Pero las vistas más espectaculares son las de la Cubierta Superior. Con sus imponentes 250 metros de altura, este mirador brinda vistas panorámicas de la metrópoli y, si el tiempo lo permite, del Skytree e incluso del Monte Fuji en el horizonte.
Shibuya (渋谷) es uno de los barrios de moda y entretenimiento más populares de Tokio. Y es uno de esos lugares icónicos entre los que visitan Japón, sobre todo por su inmenso paso de peatones, que cruzan a diario miles de personas.

Nosotros al ser descendientes de japoneses, queríamos probar cosas que ya conocíamos en Argentina pero hecha en Japón. Y fuimos a un Restaurante japonés que servía comida típica de allí.
Pedimos Katsukare, que es cerdo empanado con panko, cubierto con un queso, acompañado con arroz japonés y servido con un caldo llamado "Kare", que en mi opinión es el mejor plato que he comido en mi vida. Combina Carne de cerdo, arroz, y el Kare en invierno es lo mejor que le ha pasado a mi paladar.
Y de postre pedimos algo simple, frutillas con crema. Nos recomendaron este postre debido a que era época de frutillas en el invernadero artificial que crean ellos mismos. Y lo mejor de todo es que es muy suave y no cae pesado.
