Redang Island is by far my favorite place to go for a summer vacation in Malaysia. It is located on the northeast coast of Terengganu, an 8-hour drive from Kuala Lumpur and about a 45-minute to 1-hour boat ride.
I don't mind the 9 hour journey just to reach this paradise because it's all worth it.
The crystal clear water and the long white beach are the main attractions, not to mention that it is a perfect place for snorkeling and diving.
Indeed one of the most beautiful islands in Malaysia. Redang Island is best visited during March to September.
Resorts in the island offer fullboard packages that include boat tickets + meals + stay + snorkeling/diving.
These packages are highly recommended for a hassle-free vacation. There are also restaurants and bars around the area.
It's my second time on the island but I'm still in awe of its beauty. And I will always come back again and again.
