One of the exhilarating experiences we had as a couple is discovering places here locally. It is also our way of keeping ourselves away from the stress of our work. Also, it's our 6th wedding anniversary that's why we're peeking for a new place to dine in. We found this overlooking place known as Liel's Kitchen at Busay, Cebu, City. So, please come with us!
It's the entrance view of the restaurant
Liel's Kitchen by Serenity Farm and Resort nestling in the heart of Busay. They served modern Japanese cuisine and a few Filipino dishes also. It is a perfect restaurant away from hustle and bustle of the city.
Serenity also has a mini Golf course. Ideal for aspiring golfers.
It has a spacious and wide ground to park our vehicles. The calm and cold breeze of the wind brought by nature then calms us we encountered a heavy traffic jam as well as sultry weather.
As we look around, people were working on a sloped area. They are in a process of constructing a new spot there.
As we headed toward the restaurant, this flower pot caught my attention. It's unique I guess because you can not find any green pigment, it's something purple or maroon. I don't exactly know this plant but I like its flower.
They also have Japanese figurines and plants. I feel like I am in Japan! The view is a combination of Japanese and Filipino styles. Its Asian view stole the heart of many people, we are one of them. Though it's distant from our residence however it's worth it.
Welcome once again!
As we went inside, this mountainous view surprised us. To my astonishment, the only word I uttered was "WOW!". I can't help myself from taking photos of it. It is just so perfect for looking for a place to unwind and relax our minds and eyes just by gazing at green sceneries brought by nature. Its breathtaking view just fueled our entire whole being.
They have a nest-like spot made of rattan. It's just a few steps from our table. The floor is made up of wood with metal grilles as a barrier. At first, I was hesitant to walk to that spot since I have a fear of heights but yes I conquered it again. I just have to make sure that the support of this whole thing is reliable, and as I scrutinize it, tough and durable as it is built with metal with cement.
They also have this rope netted like a bed. The big pillows are made of leather. It is more romantic here during nighttime because the lights are created even prettier with the cold air breeze. Perfect for the couple to dine this Valentine's day.
It was time to order and fill our stomachs since our eyes were already full of viewing.
Oops! It's just us here😅. We came here by 2 pm since we had a hard time finding this place. We didn't use any Google map whatsoever, we'd just asked people around Busay.
We ordered Japanese dishes since we use to eat Filipino foods then.
My husband ordered "Katsudon" worth 300 pesos or 5.226 dollars, it's fried breaded pork cut into strips. It already has rice and side dishes as well. While I ordered "Gyudon" worth 380 pesos or 6.61 dollars, it's a beef that is cut into thin strips just like bacon and then cooked. It's sweet and savory as well. We have additional order, the "California Maki Rolls" with eight slices, and two soft drinks. Meanwhile, the side dishes like a vegetable salad really hits different in my mouth, it's fantastic! I love how it tastes. The soup and pickled cucumber also taste good.
If you happen to visit here, it's worth it. I recommend this place as it is purely made to satisfy the need to unwind, relax, and renew.
That's it for today Hivers! See you on my next blog. God bless!
