There are untimely happening that we cannot avoid. Our marriage has been testing through time. We have pity quarrels that eventually reunited because of love. As individuals, we are occupied that's why we didn't able to comprehend each other's minds. This occurrence gives us a lot of lessons. Maybe we just need to breathe from reality, just the two of us.
Yesterday, I and my husband had an adventurous ride to Trans Central Highway. We did a detour from our hometown to Tabuelan going to Balamban, Cebu. It was indeed a different one, travel that was full of happiness and love. The connections we have grows stronger.
We had various stops because we are only using our motorbike (I'll be sharing those soon). From Tabogon to Balamban we had our snacks at Asturias. We feel starved when we arrived in Balamban and looked for a restaurant to eat in. There are many restaurants you can choose from however this Nomad's Refuge has an eye-catching view. No wonder why some travelers dine here. This is located at Cantipla, Balamban, Cebu.
The Entrance
From the road, we can see the restaurant on top. A peculiar building captures every traveler's sights. Some plants grow beautifully beside the ramp, it has easy steps so one can gracefully walk above. The existing life adds beauty to the spot.
While walking on the ramp, I noticed this bird lying dead. I don't know if it's a design or was killed. Either of the two, how pitiful it is๐ฎโ๐จ.
As I go on, there's a golden pot in the middle of the plants. Hi there! Maybe it's their lucky charm.
The Interior
This area is reserved due to the demand. Glad that when we came here there are seats available
I was astonished by their interior design, feels like a rest house ambiance. The black-painted rillings compliments the varnished and shiny timber. The distinguished lines and parallels made it more enticing to the eyes.
The View
The cozy atmosphere and the view say it all. Its therapeutic scene is a distressing medicine. The green forestland surrounding the mountain is incredible. I cannot explain how terrific it was in our eyes. Somehow eases the tired bodies from riding.
The Food
The first thing they served, was different cutleries, plates, and napkins.
Their best-selling menu is Native chicken soup which is perfect for the climate they have. So, we ordered it.
We ordered:
Native Chicken - 400 pesos
Rice 1 platter - 120 pesos
Mango Smoothie - 160 pesos
Mango iced tea - 125 pesos
We shared the viand since good for 2-3 persons. It's quite palatable in our mouths. While eating, we enjoyed so much the view and the vehicles running to and fro. There were some motorists fond of riding here in TCH because you know now the reason.
Our bill is 805 pesos or 14.35 USD. Their price is reasonable and no remorses about that.
The Parking Lot
The parking lot is quite spacious and some customers with wheels may cater.
Comfort Room
I found myself in awe as I encounter this mini furniture made of wood. You can alter it whatever you like.
Their comfort room is as neat as any other restaurant.
What amazes me when I enter the toilet, is this view. This is so relaxing. When I zoom in on the succulent plant, is a healthy and pretty one.
Here is a busy counter of Nomad's.
Self-Realizations
I realized that life is worth it to fight for, as well as the marriage. As long as there is love that binds both of you no matter what happens you have to defend the relationship you have. I believe that there is a reason behind why God let that happen, it's to let us awaken the sleeping hearts and sparkle again the burning love within us. With this regard, if we feel something that is not right with the relationship, then make a move to eventually arouse the cold union.
I guess that's all for today's blog Hivers. See you on our next road trip!
