Ice Hotel, Kiruna, Sweden

As you can see from my previous blog, I went on a trip to Kiruna, Sweden.　For the first time in my life, I experienced -20 degrees Celsius, met reindeer and gave them moss, visited Sami Museum, and had a lot of fun.

先のブログを見ていただいた方はお分かりですが、スウェーデンにある、Kirunaに旅行に行きました。　人生初めて、－２０度を経験し、トナカイに会ってコケを与えたり、Sami博物に行ったりと、とても楽しい思い出が出来ました。

キルナに行きたかった理由

Why I wanted to go to Kiruna

1. I want to see how the Sami live.

2. I want to visit the Ice Hotel. 🥶😁

3. I want to ride a dog sled. 🐕

4. I want to see the Northern Lights if possible.

🔦先のブログでも書いたのですが、いくつかの理由があり、キルナへ旅行へ行くことになりました。

１．サーミの生活を見てみたい。

２．アイスホテルに行ってみたい。

３．犬ぞりに乗ってみたい。

４．できれば、オーロラを見てみたい。

One of the reasons I wanted to go to Kiruna in the first place was to visit the Ice Hotel, and I was very happy to actually go there.

キルナにそもそも行きたかった理由の１つが、「アイスホテルに行ってみたい」で、実際に行ってみてすごくうれしかったです。

There was a huge door at the entrance, and when you walked through it, you were greeted with a world of ice.　The floor, ceiling, and walls were all made of ice and snow, and it was very beautiful.

I was a little worried and thinking that what would I do if it was very cold...., but it was warmer than I expected.　The word "warm" is a little strange, but when the temperature outside is -20 degrees Celsius, even if it's 0 degrees Celsius inside, it's still +20 degrees Celsius compared to outside. I didn't feel that cold. If you get what I am trying to say here LOL!

入り口はすごい大きな扉があって、そこを抜けると一面氷の世界が拡がっていました。　床、天井、壁、すべてが氷や雪で作られていて、とてもきれかったです。

寒かったらどうしよう」。ちょっと心配でしたが、思ったより暖かかったです。　暖かい」というのはちょっと変ですが、外の気温が-20℃の時、室内が0℃でも外に比べれば＋20℃ですからね。そんなに寒いとは感じませんでした。

Each room in the Ice Hotel is decorated by a different artist.　Of course, since the hotel is run as an actual hotel facility, you can also stay in the rooms (not only for visitors to see each beautiful ice room).　We did not stay at the hotel, (actually, we could not make a reservation since the hotel was full. It seems that we had to make a reservation in advance! The hotel is pretty popular!) but just visited the hotel rooms.　Well, but we were quite satisfied with just visiting the hotel though.　The hotel's facilities are quite extensive, with an Ice Bar and an Ice Restaurant.　As expected, the showers and other facilities were not decorated ice (Thank you! 😆❄️😆❄️). The hotel was a place where you could make the best memories as a facility for making special memories.

アイスホテルの内装は各部屋が違ったアーティストによって装飾されています。　もちろん、ホテルとして経営しているため、その部屋に宿泊することもできます。　わたしたちは宿泊はせず、ホテルの部屋を見学するだけにしました　（とても人気があって、ホテルは満室でした。。かなり前もって予約する必要があるようです！）。　ただ、見学するだけでも、結構満足できましたよ。　ホテルの施設は結構充実してて、アイスバー、アイスレストランもありました。　シャワーなどはさすがに、アイスでは装飾されておらず、そこは体を温めることが出来て、特別な思い出を作る施設として最高の思い出ができること間違いない施設でした。
