It was a very fun trip to Sigtuna, Sweden ๐ธ๐ช When we visited the town, it was early October. It was a bit too late for the autumn leaves ๐ but still we could see these beautiful colorful autumn leaves.
This time I did not visit Sigtuna Museum, but if you like history, I'd recommend visiting the museum as well. You'll learn so much about how Vikings moved to Sigtuna from Birka, the first Viking village in Sweden. ๐ It was interesting how Swedes gradually converted their beliefs to Christianity by visiting these Christian church ruins. Plus, I visited two cafes in the town. Swedish #fiks is just so great!

St Lars Church ruin, Sigtuna
As you may know, Sigtuna is the oldest Christian town in Sweden. Well, the reason why they say so is that King Olof Skรถtkonung, the first Christian king ๐ ruled this area. And, a mint where they produced coins with his face is found in Sigtuna as well.
St Lars Church ruin dose does not have much to see except this a part of the ruin....it has been ruined and deteriorated much, too bad. But, there are two runestones in the ruin.

Kristers Hantverksbageri
This place is called Krister's Handmade Bakery. Also, there's a cafe in the bakery. After we walked around in the town, we had a fika, a Swedish coffee break with some sweets. There were many different kinds of traditional Swedish sweets at the cafe. It was very good ๐

Tant Brun Kaffestuga - Aunt Brun's Cafe House
This place is an iconic place in Sigtuna. You've got to visit this cafe when you are in Sigtuna, Sweden ๐ธ๐ช According to the website, the house was built in the 1600s. The house is built by woods ๐ชต which is very rare today in Sweden. If it is warm enough, it is nice to have a cup of coffee outside too.

St Per Church ruin, Sigtuna
This is a Christian church ruin. Sigtuna is the first Christian church in Sweden ๐ธ๐ช after people moved here from Birka, the Viking village in Mรคlarlen lake. It is very beautiful! I'd recommend visiting there in autumn. Because the ruin is surrounded by oak trees and it's so beautiful when the leaves turn their color to yellow! There is a rune stone in the ruin. If you like history like me, you'll enjoy this place ๐
