Hello friends, in my previous post I told you about the town of Flekkefjord and I got very good responses, thank you for your interest. As I mentioned in that post, Flekkefjord is really an amazing city in terms of art and natural beauty and the facilities are not like ordinary towns, we said that it is possible to get answers to all your needs here.
During our trip, I visited all the side streets of the city for you and photographed the wall paintings and I will share them all in this post. There are probably many more graffiti that I missed, but I tried to find them all when I could. It was a very interesting experience for me. For the first time, I looked for graffiti by looking at the walls and between buildings while walking on the streets. It was a fun experience. We liked these graffities very much and I hope you like them too.
This is not graffiti, it is a painting hanging in the gap between the building next to the pastry shop. I wanted to include it in this post because I liked it.

This was definitely my favorite artwork. When I was looking around, I was really surprised to see such a work on the ground.
Flekkefjord's street art is stunning, reflecting the city's history, culture and the diversity of its society. Exploring these streets is not only a visual feast, but also an opportunity to understand the stories behind the works. For example, you may have noticed that a few of the artworks have the signature TΓDDEL under them, I did some research about this person on the internet and found out that he took up this hobby during the pandemic and he performs his art critically on the walls without asking anyone's permission, he says that he gets great pleasure from people taking photos of his artworks. To be honest, I like his logic very much and he's so good at it.
Flekkefjord's street art also touches on social issues. Artists use the streets to raise awareness about the environment, equality and sustainability. This means that street art in the region is not only aesthetically beautiful, but also thought-provoking and consciousness-raising.
Flekkefjord is a region rich in Street Art and when you search for it on Google, you can see many of the photos you see here. It was a great pleasure for me to actually go and see and photograph them and it was a very fun day. I think I will do this from time to time, I think I will create a concept on sculpture monuments and street art and share it with you as I photograph beautiful moments.
Honestly, I think this issue is a matter of perception, I have seen a lot of street art before, but it has never made me think deeply from this point of view, thank you for inspiring me to prepare this post, I think I will be more interested in street art from now on.
