Each of us has a favorite place when we come everywhere. This can be a park, beach or cafe...
We live in Kemer will soon have three months, then we will go elsewhere. And there is one place that has become native for us! Because so many meetings, dating, emotions held there. This Milk bar in the center of Kemer. It was not for us only a place where we just drink tea or eat. We lived here almost :) When in March was still very cold, we sat there for hours and drinking lots of hot tea, wrapped in blankets. We worked here, immersed in the cozy atmosphere of a loft-style design and dissolved in rhythm of music! That music was the first important element of our love for Milk bar ... But let's talk interesting funny story of our acquaintance with this central cafe, as the title of my post include the word "Maybach" and you will understand why!
This area, which is clearly visible from the height of the terrace of Milk Bar, was our first place where we settled. I first heard the singing of the mosque here. And then came the day when we rented a car and moved to another hotel. We left our apartment with our backpacks and left our Darinka in the Milk Bar, which is located in the same square where we lived. And we came here by car and ordered pizza, tea and tiramisu. We liked it here. The prices were nice compared to the cafe on the beach. Tea is twice as cheap. And we decided to come here again. I really like the beautiful food, beautiful dishes. I like to enjoy the view of food :)
Once it was very cold, we sat on the second floor. There are cozy soft sofas, and you can ask for a blanket to keep warm. Previously, we did not know that in Turkey there is no central heating in cafes and apartments, only air conditioners. So, we froze a little in Turkey. We are used to the fact that if it is cold outside and we come to cafes in Europe, there is warmth. But if cold in Turkey outside, it's too cold in the cafe )))
And we worked here to very energetic and beautiful music. After a while I noticed that Victoria was sleeping))) So, we really lived there!
So, after walks and trips to the sea or to the mountains, almost every night we came to this amazing building, which in the moonlight looks mystical! And we left there in the first hour of the night. We always saw a beautiful black and white Mercedes Maybach near the bar, and when we were the last to leave the bar at night, this car remained standing. This is probably the owner's car - we thought!
And this is probably the owner, a man who passionately and with pleasure created music. That's how we named the owner of Milk Bar - Maybach )))
He like play game Okey!
This place really became for us a knowledge of the life of real Turks. They do not drink alcohol, but black tea, smoke hookah and gather every night to play the game "okay". There is a special lounge bar for this game on the ground floor. And we wanted to learn this game. She looks like a domino.
There are two options for how to play it: European and Turkish. My children and I could not fully learn Turkish due to the language barrier. But we felt this cool atmosphere! Here I found an interesting article: where do Istanbul men go in the evening, or: a coward does not play "Okay"!
There was another place that is important, which we often visited after a lot of tea - a toilet of course))) Such a nice picture is on the wall to know who where needs to go :) Here is especially noticeable loft style.
Our Victoria really wanted to taste the hookah. She likes the process, maybe it relaxes, maybe it gives importance and status)) Several times we joined her brother's company to feel like an adult. But in fact, we realized that hookah does not matter to us.
Yesterday I took some photos of the night bar, when all the customers went to bed. Soon we will go to another country and I will remember the comfort of this place. It's already warm, the windows are open and I can smell the southern flowers. If you are in Kemer, be sure to visit the Milk Bar.
Warm evenings have recently arrived and the terrace on the third floor has opened. This place is a wonderful observation deck of Kemer, where you can see the beautiful blue mountains!
We studied the menu of this bar by heart :) There were a few things we ordered constantly. This is lentil soup, pizza Margarita (because our Darinka is a vegetarian), Akdeniz salad. As it turned out later (according to the owner, whose real name is Yuzhel) Milk Bar is a Ukrainian franchise! That's why we probably liked it here :)
Well, in the evening we ordered Milk shakes: for Zlata - oreo, for Darinka - strawberry, and for Vicky hot chocolate. Or orange juice. Depending on mood! And we wrote our posts.
Why has this place become our favorite? Because of the music created here by the owner Yucel (Maybach))) He personally manages the music every night and the best remixes sound, which have a very positive effect on me! From this music my optimism and my productivity grow. If I write posts here, it turns out faster and better. You feel it on video!
On May 23, our Darinka turned 12 and of course we came to Milk Bar in the evening. Here she was greeted with the song Happy Birthday and given a mini cake 🎂 :)
From the first days there was a nice Japanese-looking waiter from Kyrgyzstan, who serves customers who speak Russian. He helped us make orders, and that made our time at Milk Bar enjoyable. Since Turkish waiters do not know English very well, it was difficult for us to explain some important nuances, for example: bring us soup hot, not cold ))) Beka, the waiter's name, became very friendly with us. We believe that this waiter is a charismatic person at Milk Bar! Thanks to this friend, Darinka received the song Happy Birthday and a cake🎂 on her birthday :)
And at the end of my post I will talk about another interesting aspect of our life in Milk Bar - it's young nice waiters. Each of them did not pass by our Victoria :)
I posted this post at 2 o'clock in the morning, sitting in the Milk Bar :)
Selfie with a favorite waiter Emre and a very nice hookah boy Jean by heart :)
