🥇 Winter ascent to Kungurbuka, Uzbekistan by
Hello, today I would like to tell you about my impressions of the trek to the top of Mount Kungurbuka, which I made at the end of November. After returning from Boysun the usual question arose - where to go now? Two- or three-day trips to Boysun or Kashkadarya became temporarily unavailable due to the weather. I am not yet ready to go for two or three nights in the mountains and spend the night in tents in the snow since I am not yet well equipped and I can easily freeze something vital. Therefore, there remain one-day winter ascents and when "Mysterious Uzbekistan" announced the recruitment of a group for a winter ascent to the already familiar Kungurbuka mountain, I signed up one of the first. I was there just a couple of weeks ago and then Kungurbuka was still an autumn mountain. Now winter is in charge there.

🥈 Tales of the Urban Explorer: Tetrosyl Ltd, Bury, UK by
We could hardly walk through the front gates which were heavily guarded and besides, the premises were full of demolition blokes tearing it down with diggers. This is one of the tensest explores I have done to date. I figured I had done my homework well using a combination of past YouTube videos to navigate our way in. Shuffling past the security fence, down a steep embankment, and then crossing a shallow river with lots of moss-covered slippery stones we spotted our target in the distance but were not expecting company. Tetrosyl is an enormous chemical company that moved premises in Summer 2019, and just a few weeks before we managed to visit the new site by mistake.

🥉 Snowy adventure in old mountain, Kom Peak, Bulgaria by
Today I would like to share my Kom Peak climb in old mountain. This time, it was supposed to be chill, meaning a pleasant and easy hike for us. This is why we also took girls with us who were not experienced especially in the snow. Normally I would go only with experienced guys because my climbs are not easy and certainly not very safe. Because of the winter though, we ran into other unpredicted troubles even before our start. In the northern part, the Balkan terrain is dotted with steep turns and big denivelations. This coupled with very thick and long fog contributed to driving madness. I could only see like 1-meter max in front of the car and this lasted for good 40 km. Half of those were in our ascend to the mountain which made it even more dangerous.
