Couple of weeks ago, after getting free from the wedding of my brother-in-law. Now, its time for the close relatives to invite newlywed couple for the dinner. Last Sunday, we also get invitation for the dinner at Koyla Kings along with other family members. It was from the eldest sister of my wife. I have never heard or seen Koyla Kings before however, I have been to this place several times but didn’t noticed this one.
There are too many restaurants on this side and is famous for Shaheen Shinwari specially the name shinwari is very famous, too many restaurants with the same name. Koyla Kings maybe a new one opened there. We went there on the time provided and the atmosphere looks good. They have separate area for families both indoor and outdoor.
The restaurant was well decorated and was looking different form the ones nearby. Their staff was very helpful and friendly. My kiddo had a walk with me to have a little survey of this restaurant.
Their open kitchen was neat and clean, captured some pictures. Chefs were handling orders smoothly. Weekends are always housefull in such restaurants.
Guests can select their choice of fresh meat for their orders. I liked this transparency and the idea of open kitchen. Nothing is hidden from customers.
The reservation was for indoor dining so we settled there, waited for other guests to arrive. Meanwhile, my younger brother in law took some of my family pictures. I am always up for it hehehe
My kiddo was obeying my orders to be seated at one place and avoid running here and there with other kids Thank God he patiently waited for the dinner to get served.
Finally all the guests arrived and dinner was served. There was Mutton Handi, Chicken Tikka and Kabli Pulao (Afghani Rice). Everything was very nicely cooked.
Mutton Handi was perfect with balanced spices, not very spicy, just like I wanted. Naan (bread) were just ok, not my type and maybe that is why I forgot to take their picture lol.
Chicken Tikka was also up to the mark, not over cooked. The spices were mixed within the meat and its taste was outstanding. My wife liked it a lot.
Kabli Pulao as per remarks from others was also really nice. I didn’t tasted it because I was totally busy with Tikka and Handi and the kids.
The salad and raita (Yoghurt) were fresh too, my kiddo liked the yoghurt and was having it happily with the bread.
Overall, the dinner was really nice and we all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and the gathering. I would definitely recommend my friends and others to taste this restaurant. Cheers!!!
