Being in the right place, at the right time, with the right person/ people (in this case, jhymi and jhymie)is pure ecstasy. When I saw 's prompt for this week, the first place that came to mind was this little discovery of mine. I wrote a post about this garden sometime ago, you can find that post here. This garden is a private owned garden and as such, there are some restrictions to its access.
I take my special friends who are up for a "joy hike" to this garden. The last time I visited the garden with a friend, we got confronted because of our incessant chattering and as such, I stayed away from it for a while.
This garden is special to me because I came across it in one of my low moments and it gave me so much joy. That feeling when there's a gap within and something beautiful appears to fill up the gap? Yes, the garden filled up my gap. I live by a highway and there is nothing intriguing to see except cars and humans. The story changed the day I met this garden. Good thing is that the garden is two stone throws from my house–easy hike to joy.
A picture I captured of the sky on our way to the garden. A lot of people were looking at me like I had lost my mind. It's not actually normal to see someone walking on the road and taking pictures --in the part of their world where I'm from.
the clouds and the highway
I went on to take some pictures in the garden, paying attention to the littlest of details, the outcome wasn't so bad after all.. The garden is somewhat on a hill and so we had to climb up but before I climbed, I took a picture of the coltar from the ground level.
an ants view
Look at the beauty I found amidst the grass. This is a flower from the grass. I don't know its name but I think it's beautiful.
In a garden, there should be flowers right? Well, I took some shots of other flowers. I noticed that most of them were pink.
beauty one
A friend of mine recently said that I see beauty in everything, even things that they tagged as "ugly". Well, what can I say. There's always a trait of beauty in every thing.
beauty two
A few clips of my hands. I tried to make this shots as epic and possible, what do you think?
And to this. This was I and 's shot at love(literally 😅). I still feel that it looks a little bit crooked but
was our focus. I like the way this picture came out, after so many failed attempts.

If you look clearly at the picture below, you'd see another hill at the other end. This picture still looks like it was taken from a leveled ground, but it wasn't.
a view from top to bottom
I could barely take pictures of myself because each attempt was futile.
There is no way I would take a walk to this garden and come back sad. It has never been heard of. That's the impact this garden has on me, "source of joy and bliss. I really enjoyed my hike here and I would do it again if given the opportunity.
This is my entry into the #Wednesdaywalk, an initiative by . I hope you enjoyed the toured round the Thank you so much for reading.
With love, wongi ✨
