We walked again along the beautiful path of the Lover's trail. In the northern part of Varenna there’s a port where large ferries depart. These ferries operate along the Como-Colico and Lecco-Bellagio routes. The nearest major stops are Menaggio, Cadenabbia and Bellagio.

“I’m so excited to kickstart the next 10 years of my life!” I’m planning a fun hiking trip with my sister to get stronger physically. We’ve been chatting about the possibility of hiking together once a month in the beautiful mountains nearby. For our first adventure, we decided to check out the ruins of Takatori Castle, which is famous for its stunning mountain views. This castle was abandoned during the Meiji era, and it’s such a beautiful spot perched high up.

Castiglione della Pescaia is a historic town located in the Tuscany region. It’s famous for its medieval walls, stone houses and narrow streets. Of course, its natural beauty also stands out. You can explore the town’s historical center, walk along the walls and enjoy the breathtaking views. I should also mention that there is a lower section in the town. We were at the top part, which is located on a hill with the more protected stone buildings, while the lower part has a marina with yachts, shops and a more modern lifestyle. But we didn’t stop there. The historical part at the top was really impressive and the view was incredible.
