🥇 A Journey Wrapped in Gold: Dambulla & Kandy (EN-ES) by Hive account@ramon2024

Today I want to share another part of my adventures in Sri Lanka, this time around Dambulla, a place that surprised me much more than I expected and that eventually led us to Kandy, where the next day we would catch the famous train towards the tea plantations. When I look at these photos, I realise how special that day was: we went from golden temples to caves filled with ancient Buddhas, and ended with one of the calmest evenings I can remember.

🥈 Icelandic landscapes I saw from plane Amazing. by Hive account@hindavi

Our plane was in the middle of the day, but as Norwegian days are very short, it felt feeling we were traveling in the evening. Luckily, I got a window seat free of any obstruction from the wing. I wasn't on a photography tour, nor was I equipped for taking these photos. It was just that I got a chance to see this fantastic view without any expectation.

🥉 BIG STICKY RICE TRAY HILL – SYMBOL OF MU CANG CHAI IN THE GOLDEN SEASON OF THE NORTHWEST OF VIET NAM by Hive account@dodovietnam

Hi dear Hivers in Worldmappin community, amidst the majestic mountains of Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai, Vietnam, Big Sticky Rice Tray Hill has long been a symbol of every ripe rice season. This unique name comes from the natural shape of the terraced fields here: each round, each layer is regularly curved and rounded like a giant tray of sticky rice in the middle of the forest. After hundreds of years of cultivation by the H'Mong people, the fields were built by hand with skillful hands and perseverance, creating a topographical masterpiece that is rarely found anywhere else.
