Quise compartir un mix entre actores y actrices y el tráiler de una película recomendada de cada uno para que se animen a verla.
Me encantó esta temática ya que últimamente estoy tratando de ampliar mi cultura de cine, y prestando más atención a sus detalles. Pero debo admitir que mi criterio de selección para este top es, por supuesto, muy subjetivo y más que grandes actores reconocidos por su talento y trayectoria, voy a mencionar a cinco famosos cuyo trabajo me gusta (e intento) seguir.

I wanted to share a mix between actors and actresses and the trailer of a recommended movie of each one so that you are encouraged to watch it.
I loved this theme since lately I'm trying to broaden my movie culture, and paying more attention to their details. But I must admit that my selection criteria for this top is, of course, very subjective and rather than great actors recognized for their talent and career, I'm going to mention five celebrities whose work I like (and try to) follow.
Jessica Chastain
Conocí a esta actriz con la película The Help y me encantó su personaje, siendo uno de mis favoritos. Lo que más me gusta de ella es cómo transmite sus emociones al actuar y da la impresión de ser una persona muy dulce y elegante y eso también se lo aporta a sus personajes.
En un papel diferente, donde la podemos ver más “guerrera” y enamorada es en El Cazador y la Reina de Hielo. Me gustó su actuación, sin embargo, disfruto más verla en películas dramáticas dónde ella resalte más.
Otra película en la que hizo un excelente trabajo fue en Un Refugio Inesperado. Les dejo el tráiler de esta película así como una breve reseña que escribí sobre ella hace unos meses.
I met this actress with the movie The Help and I loved her character, being one of my favorites. What I like most about her is how she transmits her emotions when acting and she gives the impression of being a very sweet and elegant person and she also brings that to her characters.
In a different role, where we can see her more "warrior" and in love is in The Huntsman and the Ice Queen. I liked her performance, however, I enjoy more seeing her in dramatic films where she stands out more.
Another movie where she did an excellent job was in The Zookeeper's Wife. I leave you the trailer of this movie as well as a brief review I wrote about it a few months ago.
Bradley Cooper
Fue con la película The Hangover con la que conocí a este actor, en un papel divertido aunque muy distinto a otros que le vi interpretar.
Creo que es un actor que puede adaptarse a distintos géneros y te puede entretener en el camino. Aunque lo prefiero en interpretaciones más de tipo dramáticas.
Algunas de las películas que he visto en las que ha actuado son Silver Linings Playbook y Joy, pero la que sigue siendo inolvidable para mí es Star is Born, cuyo tráiler les dejo a continuación:
It was with the movie The Hangover that I got to know this actor, in a fun role although very different from others I've seen him play.
I think he is an actor who can adapt to different genres and can entertain you along the way. Although I prefer him in more dramatic type performances.
Some of the movies I've seen him in are Silver Linings Playbook and Joy, but the one that remains unforgettable for me is Star is Born, whose trailer I leave you with below:
Saoirse Ronan
Esta actriz me parece sumamente talentosa y lo ha demostrado desde muy pequeña cuando protagonizó The Lovely Bones en 2009 con 15 años de edad, película con la cuál la conocí. Es una película muy impactante y emotiva, que recomiendo 100%.
Saoirse también hizo un excelente papel en Lady Bird, con la cual obtuvo mucho reconocimiento y estuvo nominada a múltiples premios, así como con su papel en Little Woman. Creo que no hay película en la que participe esta actriz que no destaque. Si tuviera que describirla en una palabra diría ligereza, ya que siento que su actuación es muy natural, en el sentido de que pareciera que ella nació para hacer lo que hace.
Mi película recomendada de ella es Brooklyn:

Cillian Murphy
Este es el tipo de actores que ves una vez en una película y llama totalmente tu atención, por lo que decides buscar más sobre él y su trabajo. La primera película que vi de él fue Vuelo Nocturno y me gustó como interpretó a este villano un tanto seductor.
Hay mucha intensidad en la interpretación de este actor pero considero que también transmite la reserva que caracteriza su vida personal en sus personajes, al menos en los papeles que lo he visto interpretar. En otras palabras, da la impresión tanto en la vida real como en la pantalla, que nunca lo conoceremos por completo. Otras películas que he visto de él son Sunshine y su aparición en In Time.
Mi recomendación es la película Peacock donde interpreta a un hombre con trastorno de personalidad múltiple:
This is the kind of actor you see once in a movie and he totally grabs your attention, so you decide to look up more about him and his work. The first movie I saw of his was Night Flight and I liked how he played this somewhat seductive villain.
There is a lot of intensity in this actor's performance but I feel that he also conveys the reserve that characterizes his personal life in his characters, at least in the roles I have seen him play. In other words, he gives the impression both in real life and on screen that we will never fully know him. Other films I have seen of his are Sunshine and his appearance in In Time.
My recommendation is the movie Peacock where he plays a man with multiple personality disorder:
Anya Taylor-Joy
Parar cerrar, Anya Taylor-Joy me parece una chica con un enorme talento. Creo que es imposible quitarle los ojos de encima en cada aparición que hace. Transmite mucha elegancia en su actuación, aunque admito que me gustaría verla en un papel divertido y más romántico alguna vez.
Las películas que he visto de ella hasta ahora son Fragmentado y Pura Sangre. Tengo muchas películas y series pendientes por ver donde ella aparece, y espero poder organizarme para hacerlo pronto.
Una serie que no he visto pero que sé que han recomendado un montón es Gambito de Dama, así que les dejo su tráiler por acá:
To finish, Anya Taylor-Joy strikes me as an enormously talented girl. I think it's impossible to take your eyes off her in every appearance she makes. She conveys a lot of elegance in her performance, although I admit I would like to see her in a fun, more romantic role sometime.
The movies I've seen of hers so far are Fragmented and Thoroughbred. I have a lot of movies and series pending to watch where she appears, and I hope I can get my act together to do so soon.
One series I haven't seen but I know has been recommended a lot is Lady Gambit, so I'll leave its trailer here:
