Вранці 19 грудня, коли нашим дітям варто було б додивлятися солодкі сни та радісно прокидатися, щоб зазирнути під подушки, в пошуках подарунків від Миколая, нашу країну знову атакували шахідами. В столиці та Київській області було дуже не спокійно. Уламки збитих дронів пошкодили декілька приватних будинків.
Всього було запущено 30 шахідів. 25 були збити та, нажаль, 5 поцілили в енергетичні об’єкти. Пізніше з новин ми дізналися, що росія знову закупила 300 іранських безпілотників, незважаючи на брехливе запевняння Ірану про свою непричетність. Цікаво, як їм всім спиться, знаючи, що від їх зброї гинуть невинні, страждають тисячі мирних мешканців України? Хоча, як говорить моя мама: “Поганому виду нема стиду”. Мабуть, це про них…

On the morning of December 19, when our children should be enjoying sweet dreams and joyfully waking up to look under their pillows in search of gifts from Nicholas, our country was again attacked by shahids. It was very uneasy in the capital and Kyiv region. Debris of downed drones damaged several private houses.
A total of 30 shahids were launched. 25 were shot down and, unfortunately, 5 were aimed at energy facilities. Later, we learned from the news that russia had again purchased 300 Iranian drones, despite Iran's false assurances of its non-involvement. I wonder how they all sleep, knowing that their weapons are killing innocents and suffering thousands of peaceful residents of Ukraine? Although, as my mother says: "There is no shame in a bad look." Apparently, it's about them...
І знову цілий день без світла. Вже зараз стали розуміти, що у дні, коли температура повітря знижується, електроенергії катастрофічно не вистачає, адже велика її частина використовується на роботу котелень та опалення. Та, незважаючи на такі незручності, все ж свято для учнів та дітей ВПО, які проживають в гуртожитку нашого закладу, відбулося. Святий Миколай всіх привітав та порадував смачними подарунками.
And again a whole day without light. Already now they have come to understand that on days when the air temperature drops, there is a catastrophic lack of electricity, because a large part of it is used for the operation of boiler houses and heating. But, despite such inconveniences, the holiday for students and children of IDPs living in the dormitory of our institution took place. Saint Nicholas greeted everyone and delighted everyone with delicious gifts.
Двоє дівчаток ВПО були дуже здивовані та навіть трішечки шоковані. Вони зовсім не очікували, що казковий персонаж особисто прийде вітати їх. Радість та непідробне щастя в їх посмішках – дорогого вартують. Дуже приємно, коли діти отримують радість. Ці дві сестрички живуть у нас з травня. Вони з Балаклії. Коли була звільнена Харківщина, ця родина дуже раділа. Але на другий день після повідомлення про деокупуцію цього міста, в багатоповерхівку, де була квартира наших ВПО, прилетіла ракета. Житла в цієї сім’ї вже немає. Молодша дівчинка – Аделіна дуже плакала, як дізналася сумну новину. Дитину декілька днів не могли заспокоїти. І от така дрібничка, як пакунок солодощів, змусив засяяти її оченята. Це найменше, що ми могли зробити для цих дітей…
The two IDP girls were very surprised and even a little shocked. They did not expect that a fairy-tale character would personally come to greet them. The joy and genuine happiness in their smiles is priceless. It is very nice when children get joy. These two sisters have been living with us since May. They are from Balaklia. When Kharkiv region was liberated, this family was very happy. But on the second day after the announcement of the deoccupation of this city, a rocket flew into the high-rise building where our IDPs had an apartment. This family no longer has a home. The younger girl, Adelina, cried a lot when she heard the sad news. The child could not be soothed for several days. And such a trifle as a package of sweets made her eyes light up. This is the least we could do for these children…
І в той час, коли діти війни, наші українські діти чекають на чудо, якого вони заслуговують, як ніхто у світі, два світові диктатори проводять зустріч. Моторошно навіть думати про те, до чого приведуть їх домовленості. Знаю з перших вуст, що на кордоні Чернігівської області з боку росії та білорусії перебуває велика кількість ворожих військ. Невже ж таки путін дотисне лукашенка, і він введе свої війська в Україну? Надії на спротив народу білорусії досить мало. Вони, як на мене, такі ж раби, як і росіяни.
And at a time when the children of war, our Ukrainian children, are waiting for a miracle that they deserve like no one else in the world, two world dictators are holding a meeting. It's scary to even think about what their arrangements will lead to. I know firsthand that there is a large number of enemy troops on the border of Chernihiv region from the side of russia and belarus. Is it true that putin will be pressed by lukashenka, and he will introduce his troops into Ukraine? There is little hope for the resistance of the people of belarus. They, as far as I'm concerned, are just as much slaves as the russians.
А ми продовжуємо жити, ба навіть влаштовувати невеличкі свята для дітей. Хай вони проходять у містах і селах, де гудуть генератори, де діти вчать уроки під ліхтарики і свічки та ми знаємо, що нас звуть нацією незламних і це чиста правда.
And we continue to live, and even organize small holidays for children. Let them take place in cities and villages, where generators hum, where children teach their lessons by flashlights and candles, and we know that we are called a nation of indomitable people, and this is the pure truth.
