Hello Fungi Lovers! I am here again to give you an update on my home mushroom cultivation. If you remember my first post, I already have a fully ramified white oyster mushroom fruiting bag ready to grow fruit.
After 3 weeks of waiting, spraying with water twice a day, and hoping for rain and lighting...
And finally! My first mushroom fruit!

I was too excited and took pictures. I also checked how big it was and measured it.
I should have taken its weight but unfortunately, I don't have a kitchen scale. 😅 But to my estimate it weighs about 250 grams.
And of course, as means to celebrate my first harvest is by cooking it! I just sautéed it in butter and garlic and it's so flavourful!
The fruiting bag will again grow fruit every two weeks, for six months!
