Took me about 7 days to finish this lovely series of 9 Seasons on Netflix with each episode lasting for about 43 minutes
Hand's down one of the best series i've ever binged watched in the "Law & Order Category" Suits definitely trumps How To Get Away With Murder for me.
The casting of the series was brilliant and I don't think anyone could have portrayed their characters any better. We have Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) and Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) as leading characters through out seasons 1 through 7
The "Bromance" of these two characters Harvey Specter & Mike Ross is the best i've seen since Joey & Chandler from the series F.R.I.E.N.D.S and Sherlock Holmes & John Watson from the infamous series Sherlock
Harvey took the risk of breaking the law for Mike in the Pilot and since then these two have been inseparable. Mike even took the fall and ended up going to prison after admitting to fraud.
I knew something was bound to happen between these two since they first met in the Pilot and BANG!! they got married at the end of Season 7 which put an end to Rachel Zane's character as she had to get married in real life to Prince Harry.
Fun Fact: I realised Rachel Zane is Meghan Markle in Season 6 and I felt like such an ass because I failed to identify her even after watching her marriage streaming live on BBC LOL
Now this character is the literal definition of "Pain In The Ass" but Louis Litt is a character you'll really love & hate at the same time. His expressions are just insane and unique and he almost reminds me of a young Jim Carrey.
Donna Paulsen is the queen of witty comments and she's damn charming and fun as well, Donna knows everything and is the best Secretary on the planet scratch that THE UNIVERSE. This line that she says in a conversation when she met Harvey for the first time was just epic "Oh, you have no idea how Donna I am"
Jessica (Ex- Managing Partner) is the heart and soul of the law firm Pearson Specter Litt. She’s always 100 steps ahead of everyone and anticipates almost everything. Jessica is a success story in short with an impressive character representation.
The poster of Season 8 came out to be a bit of surprise to me because leading characters Mike Ross and Rachel Zane weren't on it. Why was it a surprise though ? Because I came across this poster while I was watching Season 4
Recurring character Alex Williams (Dulé Hill) was made a regular and a new character Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl) was introduced as a regular to the series in Season 8
The ending was really emotional truth be told, titled "One Last Con" this dramatic series ended with Louis marrying Sheila who ended up giving birth a beautiful baby girl on the same day. Harvey and Donna also ended up tying the knot.
Here's a review my friend wrote someday back on Suits
