Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, existen secuelas que simplemente se les dice así por estar ambientadas en el mismo universo de otra película puesto que tienen su propia personalidad y no dan continuación alguna a los acontecimientos de su precuela. Lo anterior define perfectamente a Space Jam 2 que si bien es una secuela busca generar su propio camino con las bases que dejo la primera entrega. Sin más que agregar pónganse su uniforme de básquetbol que estamos por jugar un partido inolvidable

Para limar asperezas Lebron lleva a su hijo con él a los estudios Warner para escuchar una propuesta que le tienen, oferta la cual declina y tacha de horrible al algoritmo que lo creó por lo que este como venganza logra introducirlo a Lebron y a Dom en su mundo digital por lo que tendrán que ganar un partido para recuperar su libertad.

Both Lebron James and his son Dom play the typical papal cliches of the uncompromising and strict father and the repressed and self-conscious son of doing what he likes, this drama that has already been used ad nauseam is too dull and boring for what it is a weak plot to move the movie forward. The rest of the characters like the Looney Tunes are what is expected of them they are absurd, funny and unpredictable, and the villain is quite generic and stupid in a bad way.
Tanto Lebron James como su hijo Dom juegan los típicos papales clichés del padre intransigente y estricto y del hijo reprimido y cohibido de hacer lo que le gusta, este drama que ya ha sido usado hasta el cansancio es demasiado soso y aburrido por lo que es un argumento débil para hacer avanzar la película. El resto de los personajes como los Looney Tunes son lo que se espera de ellos son absurdos, graciosos e impredecibles, y el villano es bastante genérico y estúpido en el mal sentido.
The music and animation are simply wonderful, animation achieves that cohesion between the animated and the real so that it looks great and the music is what you can expect for this typical movie.
La música y la animación son sencillamente maravillosas, la animación logra esa cohesión entre lo animado y lo real para que se vea muy bien y la música es aquello que se puede esperar para este típico de películas.
The construction of the world is strange since everything happens in the Warner server and this gives rise to visiting all the films that are owned by Warner, right off the bat it sounds like a good idea however this makes the film seem like a crossover of the entire universe of the company taking away the film's personality. While it is interesting to see the different worlds coexisting in a single universe it does not fit the movie since it doesn't really do anything with it and it feels out of place to have set the film with the other Warner properties.
La construcción de mundo es extraña puesto que todo sucede en el servidoverso de Warner y esto da pie a que se visiten todas las películas que son propiedad de Warner, de buenas a primeras suena como una buena idea sin embargo esto hace parecer a la cinta como un crossover de todo el universo de la compañía quitándole personalidad al filme. Si bien es interesante ver a los diferentes mundos coexistiendo en un solo universo no queda acorde para la película puesto que realmente no hace nada con ello y se siente fuera de lugar haber ambientado la cinta con las demás propiedades de Warner.
The plot itself is generic at maximum power, as I mentioned when I described the characters, all that makes the film move forward is the conflict and the differences that exist between father and son, all of this to give the typical message that to be There is no parent manual and that children cannot be expected to be the same as their parents. The message is very nice and everything but it is not something that has not been seen in hundreds of other films and making everything revolve around this problem is quite bland as well. The movie has a lot of funny moments which is to be expected from the Looney Tunes and I honestly wonder why they didn't add more of these good moments? Everything would have ended better without so much cliché drama asshole that honestly already tires of so much that has been used.
La trama en si es genérica a la máxima potencia, como mencione cuando describía a los personajes todo lo que hace avanzar a la cinta es el conflicto y las diferencias que existen entre padre e hijo, todo ello para dar el mensaje típico de que para ser padre no existe manual y que no se puede esperar que los hijos sean iguales a los padres. El mensaje es muy lindo y todo pero no es algo que no se haya visto en cientos de otras películas y el hacer que todo gire en torno a esta problemática es bastante soso también. La cinta tiene muchos momentos graciosos que es lo que se espera de los Looney Tunes y sinceramente me pregunto ¿Por qué no agregaron más de estos buenos momentos? Todo hubiese terminado mejor sin tanto drama cliché pendejo que sinceramente ya cansa de tanto que ha sido utilizado.

Los personajes en general solo están ahí, a los que se les da enfoque son a Lebron y Dom para que puedan aprender el valor de tener un buen vinculo padre e hijo y todo eso, fuera de ello no tienen más nada que ofrecer haciendo que se sientan como personajes incompletos. Los Tunes y el villano son más de lo mismo puesto que solo son herramientas para hacer funcionar la cinta, estando los primeros limitados a hacer gracia y el segundo a solo ser malo porque sí.
Space Jam 2 is a sequel that is not a sequel, it is a film that tries to use the universe that established its prequel and expand it, but it simply does not come out, although it is funny, it is very difficult to ignore the fact that it feels like propaganda from all the films and series that Warner owns. Space Jam 2 es una secuela que no es secuela, es una película que intenta utilizar el universo que estableció su precuela y ampliarlo pero sencillamente no le sale la jugada, si bien es graciosa es muy difícil obviar el hecho de que se siente como propaganda de todos los filmes y series de los que es dueño Warner. Pese a lo bueno que tenga debo recalcar que no se siente original para nada puesto que de buenas a primeras parece que solo quiere apelar a la nostalgia para poder venderse mejor. Por todo lo anterior merece una calificación de 2,5 estrellas de 7, desgraciadamente sigue esa tendencia de hacerle secuelas a películas que ni las necesitan ni deben hacerse.
