What is financial security?
Broadly speaking, financial stability means being free of debt and being able to comfortably pay off monthly expenses (with plenty left over for savings). Financial security, on the other hand, means having enough money to cover your expenses, emergencies, and retirement without the fear of running out.
Oh man. To expand on my post yesterday. Oh man. Ya, That is what moat everyone wants. That is all they want. And if that is all you want and get you are on the edge of falling into insecurity.
But that is where most people want to be. Because by nature people are lazy and only care for themselves.
Don't get me wrong, not everyone and Hive seems to attract people that want to beyond financial secure and want to help others.
Real life example from me today.
It has been a mental nightmare. Well maybe not that bad but that is how it felt. Here is my last 18 hours or so.
Bed/sleep at 11pm. 1am, up with a cluster headache. Back to bed at 2am. Up at 5am cluster headache. Texted boss and said I would be in work at noon. Take half a sick day so I could get some sleep. Back to bed 6am.
Woke up at 9:10am. And had the worse of my clusters to date. Most painful and longest lasting. I left to drive to work at 11:30am.
Why? Why did I not just take the whole day off. Maybe I am crazy, but I like to think my dedication comes from caring for my coworkers and customers.
I new my coworkers would need help, in turn trying to get customers vehicles back to them in a timely manor.
As my afternoon went on my frustration built. Everything I went to do had issues.
I got though it. I worked to the best of my ability. I am proud.
The point? Go beyond when you can, when you think you cannot.
What would have happened if I never went to work? I am sure it would not have been anything good for the customers.
Us Hivians are a special breed. The world will be turning to us in the future. When we are all secure in life an they want to be.
Till then stay positive and be the best you can be in everything you do. You will be rewarded.
