Like some of the investor friends we have in the LeoFinance community, I like to present some projects that are part of my portfolio outside of Hive. Today we know that the crypto market differs from a few years ago as in 2017, we can say that it has matured, and we can mention that one of these aspects is due to the Stablecoins.
These cryptocurrencies backed by national currency, are gaining more space all because of the high volatility that we all know that BTC has. It is estimated that this Stablecoins market reaches US $ 12 billion and has practically doubled if compared to the last 6 months. 2020 is undoubtedly an incredible year for crypto assets.
DeFi is also part of this "success" and we are constantly presented by more similar projects. No doubt that this technology is revolutionizing the traditional banking system. But there was a project that went further. The Neutrino protocol today launched DeFo, Decentralized Forex and with it 6 more new stablecoins.
DeFo is an open source extension, and the best thing is that it can be integrated into any interface. This extension of DeFo aims to create a truly decentralized global financial system.
By launching DeFo, Neutrino aims to allow easy access to financial instruments, such as savings, investments and foreign exchange, for residents of countries where local banking systems are inadequate or offer unfavorable conditions
It will be a great opportunity for small investors who often do not have much chance of having a good income from traditional investments, which, as we know, banks always take the largest slices and distribute only crumbs without forgetting that the rates are extremely unfavorable.
In an open poll by the community, in addition to the USDN itself, six new stablecoins were chosen and are:
- Neutrino EUR (EURN), pegged to the Euro
- Neutrino RUB (RUBN), indexed to the Russian ruble
- Neutrino CNY (CNYN), pegged to the Chinese yuan
- Neutrino NGN (NGNN), linked to the Nigerian naira.
- Neutrino JPY (JPYN), pegged to the Japanese yen
- Neutrino UAH (UAHN), linked to the Ukrainian hryvnia
There are still other future stablecoins to be launched, such as Brazil, for example, which in the future may become BRLN or REALN. My country was in dispute between the competitors, but unfortunately it was not this time, but I know that one day, not too distant, it will also be integrated and could greatly facilitate my financial life, as I have been waiting for this for years.
On what the DeFo engine will look like with its stablecoins:
These are algorithmic stablecoins issued by smart contracts, supported by USDN and WAVES tokens, while their price stability is maintained by the NSBT reserve algorithm. A network of secure oracles will constantly provide updated currency prices for fiat Forex exchanges.
The community could create pools, share liquidity and influence the future development of the DeFo extension and Neutrino's product roadmap in general through on-chain governance instruments. Thus, the community will decide which assets will later be listed on the DeFo.
With DeFo, now any user will be able to freely exchange the new stablecoins between themselves and for USDN (Neutrino USD) for any combination and value. I believe that this new system will be very useful for any investor, the integration for different interfaces will be the great differential. For holders of NSBT governance tokens found in the Waves ecosystem, they will be able to vote and choose new stablecoins in the future.
Assim como alguns amigos investidores que temos na comunidade LeoFinance, gosto de apresentar alguns projetos que fazem parte do meu portfólio fora do Hive. Hoje sabemos que o mercado crypto diferente de alguns anos atrás como em 2017, podemos dizer que amadureceu sim e podemos citar que um desses aspectos se deve as Stablecoins.
Essas criptomoedas lastreadas por moeda nacional, estão ganhando mais espaço tudo por conta da alta volatilidade que todos conhecemos que o BTC possui. Estima-se que esse mercado das Stablecoins chega aos US$ 12 bilhões e praticamente dobrou se compararmos nos ultimos 6 meses. 2020 sem dúvidas está sendo um ano incrível para os criptoativos.
O DeFi também faze parte desse "sucesso" e constamente somos apresentados por mais projetos semelhantes. Sem dúvidas de que essa tecnologia está revolucionando o sistema bancário tradicional. Mas houve um projeto que foi mais além. O protocolo Neutrino lançou hoje o DeFo, Forex Descentralizado e com ele mais 6 novos stablecoins.
O DeFo se trata de uma extensão de código aberto, e o melhor é que pode está integrado a qualquer interface. Essa extensão do DeFo tem como objetivo criar um sistema financeiro global verdadeiramente descentralizado.
Ao lançar o DeFo, a Neutrino visa permitir um acesso fácil a instrumentos financeiros, como poupanças, investimentos e câmbio de divisas, para residentes em países onde os sistemas bancários locais são inadequados ou oferecem condições desfavoráveis
Será uma grande oportunidade para pequenos investidores que muito das vezes não tem muita chance de se ter uma boa renda pelos investimentos tradicionais que como sabemos os bancos sempre pegam as fatias maiores e distribuem apenas migalhas sem esquecer de que as taxas são extremamente desfavoráveis.
Em uma votação aberta pela comunidade, além do próprio USDN, seis novos stablecoins foram escolhidos e são:
- Neutrino EUR (EURN) , atrelado ao Euro
- Neutrino RUB (RUBN) , indexado ao rublo russo
- Neutrino CNY (CNYN) , atrelado ao yuan chinês
- Neutrino NGN (NGNN) , atrelado à naira nigeriana.
- Neutrino JPY (JPYN) , atrelado ao iene japonês
- Neutrino UAH (UAHN) , vinculado à hryvnia ucraniana
Ainda existem outros futuros stablecoins a serem lançados como o caso do Brasil por exemplo que no futuro pode se tornar BRLN ou REALN. Meu país estava na disputa entre as concorrentes mas infelizmente não foi dessa vez, mas sei que um dia não tão distante ela será também integrada e poderá facilitar muito minha vida financeira, pois há anos que espero por isso.
Sobre como será o mecanismo do DeFo com suas stablecoins:
Estes são stablecoins algorítmicos emitidos por contratos inteligentes, apoiados por tokens USDN e WAVES, enquanto sua estabilidade de preços é mantida pelo algoritmo de reserva NSBT. Uma rede de oráculos seguros fornecerá constantemente os preços atualizados das moedas das bolsas Forex fiat.
A comunidade poderia criar pools, compartilhar liquidez e influenciar o desenvolvimento futuro da extensão DeFo e o roteiro de produtos da Neutrino em geral por meio de instrumentos de governança on-chain. Assim, a comunidade decidirá quais ativos serão posteriormente listados no DeFo.
Com o DeFo, agora qualquer usuário poderá trocar livremente as novas stablecoins entre si e por USDN (Neutrino USD) por qualquer combinação e valor. Acredito que esse novo sistema será muito útil para qualquer investidor a integração para diferentes interfaces será o grande diferencial. Para os detentores de tokens de governança NSBT que se encontra no ecossistema Waves poderão votar e escolher novas stablecoins no futuro.
