For my challenge this week, I invite everyone to read my article where I will highlight [Calamity](), because for me this is undoubtedly one of the wild cards in the entire [Conclave Aracana]() edition that most helps you turn the game around and also guarantees you victories that you often think you will lose, but you don't need to worry, because Calamity is on your team. A salamander with dragon power, its colors and beauty can easily be exchanged for pure chaos and destruction. Who would have imagined that this would be possible? ## 🛡️ Attributes and Abilities Based on its [Maximum Level]()
After you've seen a bit of its history, let's now analyze what makes Calamity a widely used unit in various types of battles between players. As you can see below, this card is legendary and belongs to the **Dragon** element. More details of its attributes at its maximum level are:
- [Mana](): Its cost is only 4; - [Health](): It has 10 health; - [Magic Attack](): Its mana damage is 3; - [Speed](): Its speed is 4.
These are all of his abilities:
- [Shapeshift](): Can be used on all bloodlines; - [Electrified](): For each round, 1 damage is dealt to all allies; - [Life Leech](): Increases life by 50%, always rounding up; - [Expose](): Removes Immunity and several other abilities from the opponent; - [Last Stand](): As the last unit in battle, +50% to all attributes and current life.

As you can see, we're dealing with a card with only 4 mana, which means we can basically use it in every battle if the Dragon element is present along with the battle modifiers. It's a powerful card, especially if you place it in the last position, allowing you to use its abilities to the fullest, including **Last Stand**. Furthermore, since it has the **Shapeshift** ability, all Archons from the new Arcane Conclave edition can use it in battle. You're already starting to see how interesting it is, but you'll soon see it in action. Currently, the Archons who are able to use Calamity are:

## 🧩 Combo Activated in [Bloodline Tributes]()
Before the battle, it's important to pay attention to some details such as which modifiers will be present, the amount of mana, and which cards can give you a significant advantage to empower Calamity. I will present some of these units that possess the **Bloodline Tribute** ability, and through them, Calamity can become virtually indestructible.

I highlight the card [Moribund Arrobait](), because when this unit is eliminated, its **Reincarnation** ability is activated. Only this card can provide a double attribute increase. Depending on the other cards present in the battle and the modifiers, this can be repeated many more times. Therefore, Calamity would become even stronger. Remember that it is usually used in the last position, so that it has enough time to receive all the **Bloodline Tribute** when the card is eliminated from the battle. It's also important to remember that Calamity in the last position means she will be quite [unprotected]() if an enemy unit attacks from the rear, so think carefully about how you can avoid losing her in the early rounds, because if she is the only one in the game, the **Last Stand** ability will be activated and the chances of victory may increase, but sometimes it is not guaranteed.

## ⚔️ It's Time for the [Battle]()
In this battle, I will show you how Calamity works in action. As mentioned before, one of its advantages is that it can be used against almost all Archons, and depending on your strategy and, of course, knowing exactly where to place it in a favorable position, you can unleash its maximum destructive power and will hardly be defeated.

The 18 mana requirement is [considered low](), which can be difficult for experienced players, but with a good deck, this can be easily controlled. Fortunately, all elements were available, meaning I had a wide variety of Archons at my disposal. The battle modifiers are:
- [Fog of War](): All units lose their abilities ~~(I don't like this modifier)~~; - [Counterspell](): All units have **Magic Reflection**; - [Explosive Weaponry](): All units have **Blast**.
In this specific case, I chose [Bella Ratajowlski](), and besides being 4 mana, she has the **Deflect** ability, perfect for this battle, as my units will not be affected by any magic damage or even blast damage. My battle formation consisted of:

- [Position 1](): Moribund Arrowbait to be that "kamikaze unit" and thus distribute attributes to allied units. Dying on purpose is the essence of this card; - [Position 2](): With a mana cost of 6, Thunderous Herald is a great alternative to execute enemies when they have less than 2 health in battle. - [Position 3](): Calamity in the backline, more precisely in the last position to activate **Last Stand** if necessary.

Round 1, as expected, was defeated and since it is at its maximum level, it returns to life because of its **Rebirth** ability. Then, my allied units increased all their attributes.

Round 2, I was already at a numerical disadvantage. My opponent possessed the powerful Venka, but I had Calamity. At that point, I was well-equipped with magic power.

In round 3, I was outnumbered. Having [Venka the Vile]() against your team is really hard to reverse, but I had my strategy and I couldn't let it go to waste.

In round 4, as I said before, when Calamity is the only card in battle, it activates the **Last Stand** ability. In other words, it literally becomes [indestructible](). It was difficult to take down my card with 8 spell power and 9 speed. Victory was secured for me right there.

Uma salamandra com poder de dragão, suas cores e sua beleza podem ser facilmente trocadas por puro caos e destruição. Quem iria imaginar que isso seria possível? Bem, para entender um pouco mais de sua história, você pode conferir [aqui sua Lore]().
## 🛡️ Atributos e Habilidades de Calamity Baseado em seu [Level Máximo]()
Após você conferir como é um pouco de sua história, agora vamos analisar o que faz Calamity ser uma unidade bastante usada em diversos tipos de batalhas entre os jogadores. Como podem observar logo abaixo, esta carta é lendária e pertence ao elemento **Dragão**, mais detalhes de seus atributos em seu level máximo são: - [Mana](): Seu custo é de apenas 4; - [Saúde](): Possui 10 de saúde; - [Ataque Mágico](): Seu dano mano é de 3; - [Velocidade](): Sua velocidade é de 4.

Estas são todas suas habilidades:
- [Shapeshift](): Pode ser usada em todas as linhagens de sangue; - [Electrified](): Para cada rodada, 1 de dano é causado para todos os aliados; - [Life Leech](): Aumenta a vida aumentada em 50% arredondando para cima sempre; - [Expose](): Remove Imunidade e diversas outras habilidades do adversário; - [Last Stand](): Sendo a última unidade em batalha, +50% em todos os atributos e na vida atual.
Como podem observar, estamos diante de uma carta com mana de apenas 4 e isso faz com que basicamente podemos usar em todas as batalhas caso o elemento Dragão esteja presente junto com os modificadores de batalha. É uma carta poderosa principalmente se você a coloca na última posição, assim poderá usar o máximo de suas habilidades inclusive a **Last Stand**. Além disso, como ela possui a habilidade ** Shapeshift**, isso faz com que todos os Arcontes da nova edição Conclave Arcana possa utiliza-la na batalha. Voce já começa a perceber o quanto ela é interessante, mas em breve você verá ela em ação. Neste momento, os Arcontes que são aptos a usar Calamity são estes:
## 🧩 Combo Ativado em [Tributos de Linhagem de Sangue]()
Antes da batalha, é importante você prestar atenção em alguns detalhes como quais modificadores estarão presentes, a quantidade de mana e quais cartas poderão te dar uma grande vantagem para poder dar mais poder para Calamity, irei apresentar algumas dessas unidades que possuem a habilidade **Bloodline Tribute** e através deles, Calamity pode ser até indestrutível. Destaco a carta [Moribund Arrobait](), pois quando essa unidade é eliminada, é ativada a sua habilidade de **Reencarnação**, apenas essa carta pode proporcionar aumento dos atributos duas vezes. Dependendo de mais cartas estarão presentes na batalha e também dos modificadores, isso pode ser repetido muito mais vezes. Sendo assim, Calamity ficaria ainda mais forte. Lembrando que geralmente ela é usada na última posição, para que tenha tempo suficiente para receber todos os **Bloodline Tribute** quando a carta é eliminada da batalha. É importante lembrar também que Calamity na última posição quer dizer que ela ficará bastante [desprotegida]() caso alguma unidade inimiga ataque pela retaguarda, então pense bem como poderá fazer para que não a perca nas primeiras rodadas, pois caso ela seja a única no jogo, a habilidade **Last Stand** será ativada e as chances de vitória podem aumentar, mas as vezes não é garantida.
## ⚔️ É Hora da [Batalha]()
Nesta batalha, irei mostrar como Calamity é em ação. Como já foi dito antes, uma de suas vantagens é que ela pode ser usada em quase todos os Arcontes e dependendo de sua estratégia e claro, sabendo onde exatamente colocar em uma posição favorável, você poderá usufruir o seu poder máximo de destruição e dificilmente será derrotado. A quantidade de 18 de mana é [considerado baixo]() e isso até dificulta jogadores experientes, mas tendo um bom deck, isso pode ser facilmente controlado. Felizmente todos os elementos estavam disponíveis e isso quer dizer que eu teria uma grande variedade de Arcontes a minha disposição. Os modificadores de batalha são: - [Fog of War](): Todas as unidades perdem suas habilidades ~~(não gosto desse modificador)~~; - [Counterspell](): Todas as unidades possuem **Reflexão Mágica**; - [Explosive Weaponry](): Todas unidades possuem **Blast**.
Nesse caso específico, eu escolhi [Bella Ratajowlski]() e além dela ser de mana 4, ela disponibiliza a habilidade **Deflect**, perfeito para essa batalha, pois minhas unidades não serão afetadas por nenhum dano mágico ou mesmo por blast. Minha formação de batalha foi composta por:
- [Posição 1](): Moribund Arrowbait para ser aquela “unidade kamikaze” e assim distribuir os atributos para as unidades aliadas. Morrer de proposito é a essência dessa carta; - [Posição 2](): Com um custo de 6 de mana, Thunderous Herald é uma ótima alternativa para excutar os inimigos quando estão com menos de 2 de vida na batalha. - [Posição 3](): Calamity na retaguarda, mais precisamente na última posição para acionar **Last Stand** caso for necessário.
Rodada 1, como era de se esperar, foi derrotada e como ela está com seu level máximo, ela retorna a vida por causa da sua habilidade ** Rebirth**. Em seguida minhas unidades aliadas aumentaram todos os seus atributos. Rodada 2, eu já estava em desvantagem numérica. Meu adversário possui a poderosa Venka, mas eu tinha Calamity. Nessa hora, eu estava bem municiado de poder de magia. Na rodada 3, eu estava numericamente em desvantagem. Ter [Venka the Vile]() contra seu time é realmente difícil de reverter, mas eu tinha minha estratégia e não podia desacreditar nela. Na rodada 4, como eu disse antes, quando Calamity é a única carta em batalha, ela aciona a habilidade **Last Stand**. Em outras palavras ela literalmente fica [indestrutível](). Era difícil derrubar minha carta com 8 de poder de magia e 9 de velocidade. A vitória foi garantida ali mesmo para mim.
