When Hive explodes everyone will be talking about it and that will be worth waiting for. Until then I ma happy we are under the radar developing slowly making it a better place. There is nothing out there like this place and is just too good not to succeed.
When I first found Hive I honestly had no idea what was about to happen as your life changes. This is no joke as it is so damn true as the free time you once had has now gone permanently. No regrets however as it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me and it takes time to realise this.
Over the years I have tried to onboard fellow work colleagues and family members with no such luck. The problem is the whole idea of how the eco system works is that far out that no one really understands.
When you describe Hive and in layman terms how the blockchain works you get a bewildered stare back. No one gets the free internet money part as where does it come from and this is why they just don't get it.
With the launching of the game Ragnarok soon I hope it follows in the footsteps of Splinterlands being a major hit. This is how I believe we will build our overall Hive community quicker than we are now.
Joining the Hive blockchain through an app via the back door is where the growth opportunity lies as coming directly through the front door is a slow sell.
Front ends like 
I do believe we will see growth happen when the Bull cycle hits but those are not necessarily users we really want. Just because Hive is at $5 or $10 is not the right reason to join as we all know the right time to join is when the values are low.
There are some key differences now however compared to the last bull cycle and that things have changed via development. Bid bots have come and gone which means anyone returning or joining will have to earn their rewards the hard way. There is no easy Hive or any easy tribe token available as quality should be the only reward. The addition of having tribes today may actually keep those returning users or new users this time around as they can find support within a community that they have interest in.
The economies of the world are shot to pieces and the opposite thinking of a Bull cycle for those that are desperately seeking an additional income Hive offers hope. This would be a different type of user in many ways as they would take time to learn knowing what may be possible if they apply themselves. This is what many of us have had to do as this is the long road to growing on Hive.
There are no shortcuts and the most successful way to growing on here is to be consistent and to give it your all. I do expect to see old work colleagues appear on here within the next 5 years and only then will they realise what they had turned down all those years ago. We all have opportunities present themselves every so often and it is what you do with them that defines you.
