My 25th Instacart paycheck 💸 🛒
I finally had a good week where I was actually able to work. This turned out to be my best week of Instacart since mid-May. Let's talk about it.
I plan on doing a weekly Instacart Financial Report like this one, so if you enjoy this kind of content be sure to follow me if you aren't already doing so.
I'm going to be breaking down each day of work individually. Luckily, the Instacart Shopper app makes that extremely easy to do. Let's go ahead and get things started.
Monday, June 26th
Tuesday, June 27th
No batches = No work
Wednesday, June 28th
I really needed a day like Wednesday. I got several very simple orders with big tips. It had been a while since I had a day this good. It's still far from my best day, but it certainly was my best day in several weeks. This summer has been dreadfully slow.
I made about $51.62/hr on this day.
My last customer tipped me huge, but when I met her on her porch she wasn't very friendly. I expected her to be really nice considering she left me a $57 tip for a medium-sized order. She must have just not been a very talkative person. I complimented her garden and then I ended my night happy to finally have some decent earnings.
Thursday, June 29th
No batches = no work
Friday, June 30th
I got surprised by a couple of really good orders that I grabbed from the comfort of my apartment. All that talk of sitting in parking lots of stores waiting for orders is absurd. I will not do that, especially when it is as hot as it is right now during the summer. Clearly getting orders from home is totally doable.
I made about $58.02/hr on this day.
Both of my customers tipped very well and I was able to thank one of my regulars who I finally met face-to-face for the first time. He always tips well and I'm glad that he continues to use Instacart so that I can shop for him and his family.
Saturday, July 1st
Saturday definitely wasn't what I'd call a busy day. I did however secure a few orders during the morning hours.
I made about $47.72/hr on this day.
Although I had three batches, it's clear that none of them took me very long to complete. Just over an hour of work and then I didn't get any more orders until I finally turned the app off shortly after 4 pm. I miss busy Saturdays.
Sunday, July 2nd
July 4th must have inspired a lot of people to place Instacart orders. This was the first Sunday that I stayed busy from start to finish in many weeks. I was so happy to have many orders and also a decent promotion that added an additional $20 to my pay for the day.
I made about $48.44/hr on this day.
I can't even remember the last time that I had 6 batches in one day. They just kept coming and the only time that I took a break from working all day was when I had to wait around for a police officer so I could file a police report. More on what happened that made me have to call the police in a video later this week.
End of week hours and pay 🤑
My weekly pay was just over to $400 and I barely worked over 8 hours. moretextmaybe
I made about $50.85/hr on average this past week.
Ending the week like this was very much needed. Most of my bills are due at the start of the month, so I always like to earn as much as possible the first week of the month so I can replenish my funds.
Doing it again next week 👀
I'm hoping this wasn't just because of the holiday weekend. I would love for it to stay busy like this consistently or at least every weekend. As long as I can earn a solid $300 through the weekend, then I don't have to stress about what I earn through the week. Every little bit helps and it does add up quickly when things are going well.
I hope you have enjoyed this insider look at what kind of pay is possible while working for Instacart.
