I would much prefer that Bitcoin stabilize as a payment system, but, in the meantime, it is sufficient as a store of value with the caveat that freezing some of that value in stablecoins in crypto winter is a good way to preserve it for the times when Bitcoin drops ... over time I think it will continue to do well, but to me, there is no point in riding all sides of the wave with all of one's investments.
