Where I come from, more value is placed on the money derived from the oil and gas sector. It is so myopic of us in such a way that, every parent would want their children to study, either Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering.
Our parents believe this is where the money is, and they want their children to be a part of the individuals that harvest these riches.
Recently, I found out the huge amount of money paid to those who work in the oil and gas industry is for their safety, and not their abilities.
What do I mean?
You know there is so much risk that comes with mining oils, as a result of the traditional drilling, and pumping methods that are used.
So, the large amount of money paid to workers is for the risk that they have to take on a daily basis.
It is most likely that an individual might report to work in the morning, and doesn’t return in the night. This may be as a result of some sort of accident that started out in the work areas, or zones.
But in the crypto space, we have seen that our health is not at risk in any way. I mean, what will be the essence of wealth, if we do not have the healthy bodies to enjoy it? It would be so useless.
Also, in the crypto space, you have the time to spend time with your families and friends. You have control over your affairs, investments, and finances.
But, work in an oil firm today, and you will be living in fear of getting sacked one day. And this fear will be a result of the job security that you have gotten used to.
You no longer have the courage to imagine life outside your workspace, even if this is a job that eats into your life.
Another beautiful thing about the crypto space is that money gets into everyone’s hands, as long as they want it to. Whereas the oil and gas industry is basically run on connections, or rich politicians are the major investors.
The oil and gas industry makes the gap between the rich and the poor wider, whereas the crypto space, bridges this gap.
Anyone who has the patience, to sit back, and study the dynamic of the blockchain network is most likely to become financially free.
You cannot compare an individual in the crypto space, to the one in the oil and gas industry if you are judging from the positive sides.
Right now, it is left for you to choose which side you are on. Choose wisely.
