Hello friends, I hope you are doing well. It's such a privilege to be alive and healthy, many wished for it but it wasn't possible all we have to do at this time is to have a heart of gratitude and hope for better things in the coming year.
In my post today I will continue where I stopped in my last blog as I spoke on the #leohodlcontest. The #hodlcommunity is one of those communities within the leofinance programs with the initiative of helping anyone that wishes to learn about cryptocurrency and participate in community projects.
Importance of growing your LEO Stake in 2023
I have come to understand that it is necessary for everyone serious about this project to grow his or her stake in the community, there is a lot of importance in it. They include and are not limited to
- It shows one's commitment to the initiative of the community. When you say you believe in a thing but don't support her visions it becomes difficult for anyone to believe your confession, that is to say, my confession should be backed with commensurate action.
- When my Leo stake grows I will be able to vote on publications using my Leo power and earn a curation reward. What is added to the curated post is a question about the number of my Leo power.

This year, I didn't get the revelation of what I stand to gain from staking LEO, but since I understood the importance I have improved from 200 Leo power to 560 Leo power. Just yesterday I sold off some of my #hive-engine tokens in preparation for the #lpud come 15th January. At the moment I placed some swap.hive for some Leo. If at the end of this year the order is not filled, I will buy at the market price hence it's favorable. My target now is to have at least 1440 Leo powered up to my account this January 15th first power-up for the year. I also aim at powering up nothing less than 1000 Leo every month.
See how I have done a little calculation to that, if at the end of every week I have a total of 140 Leo from my post payout, so by the end of 4 weeks I should have 560 Leo, so at the market price now I will buy at least Leo worth of 60 hives to make it up my target for the month. So I will harvest my tokens to give me more swipe hive then make up the remaining. Yes, I have made up my mind to hit my target monthly no matter what, I even wish I will exceed the target. Though I made two targets my eyes are fixed on the first.

is one lady I have been following for a while now. Presently she has 700 Leo staked to her account. But her target is to have 5000 Leo staked to her account. How she intends to do it is to power up 360 Leo every month. She intends to be committed to making publications in the community at least twice a week, especially that of #hodlcommunity, and from the publication, she aims at having 30 Leo and that will help her stake. Of a truth I see her reach this because in a short time she has joined the leofinance community she has up to 7k Leo staked to her account.
