I started a conversation about inflation in a Finnish language group for investors on Facebook. The fact that the video is English language is no problem because majority of the group members understand English just fine.
What I say here is that the video is an excellent review of the factors that influence inflation both in the short and the long term. I mention that the author talks about the collapse of the price of oil in 2014 and its effects on the cost of oil production in a longer time period. I state that Covid-19 caused a price shock in the commodities sector and mention how the author discussed its effects in the middle term not forgetting the large effects technology will have in the long term.
