Ask Hive: Do we progress Skippy cross chain capabilities?

Good morning Lions I trust you are all safe and well and today I have an important discussion to have it relates to the future plans of Skippy the much beloved token by many.

As you are aware before Do Kwon took to everyone's crypto pile with gasoline and a match we were building Skippy to be the backbone of much of the crypto projects that was going to be built i.e. gaming, international remittance, NFTs etc.

Much of the Skippy project has had to transform to meet the current sector crash due to the fact Do Kwon ruined pretty much everyone, except Skippy which is hanging on by a thread thanks to everyone. It's heart beat is low so I have come to you all with a proposal if you're interested.

Circulating Supply Slashed

As you are aware I was heavily investing in developing the infrastructure to support cross chain use of Skippy and as a result the token was Cosmos chain certified and bridged across to Terra (Luna) Network with growing pools.

On Binance Smart Chain it had a UST pool and on Terra Network also, unfortunately since Terra has collapsed there were around 140 Million tokens on Terra Classic which have been reduced to dust and well, inaccessible and effectively burned.

But we have paid a lot of cash to a lot of different people to make a token that can go just about anywhere in the current blockchain sector, Skippy is a member of the 3rd iteration of Blockchain technology and more as there are not many tokens that can come to Hive.

Also important to note that we have paid Bee to tribal DEX to list it and if you own Skippy and have any issues transferring it from Hive to Binance wallet Tribal Dex support team can help you and they're really good at supporting users.

I also make $0 on transfers it is Tribal Dex that do as they support the facilitation of the DEX. I also do not hold custody of the token on the Hive Engine so can not influence it. It is effectively a Hive token.

The proposal

So Hivians I have a proposal and it is totally up to you. currently listed on Hive Engine I have swp.skp going at the initial offer from when it was initially launched. But there are limited price points as the price increases with the objective of having it reach 1:1 with Hive and then also exceeding it.

We're going to progress Skippy in its new form a Hive community owned, decentralised cross chain token. The plan is to have a decentralised token that anyone can use to easily get value in and out of Hive.

There shouldn't be any issues going forward once established as the bridge is operated and maintained by the Hive Tribal DEX team with sound knowledge of Hive far beyond most.

But we do still need to raise some Hive to pay Bee to establish a BeeSwap Pool and then some Hive to pair it with. We will then also be looking at establishing pools on Cosmos.

This will enable users to move their funds around quickly and easily in a decentralised manner. Also now that Ethereum GAS fees have massively reduced we will be heading over to Ethereum Network to establish a pool.
