SKIPPY INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT: ALL ROADS LEAD TO HIVE

Good day everyone I have some exciting news to let you all into on the SKIPPY front which I am sure that you will all be pleased to hear. As I am still awaiting the Legal Plan from my legal team I am starting to build the Skippy infrastructure and also replanning a few project objectives based around my skillset and my expertise in the real world. But first lets talk about the current cross-chain plan.

Cross-Chain Connections

A common grievance I hear a lot on Hive is that there is no way to get assets back to Hive and bridges only go one way, typically out. We'll today that starts to change with SKIPPY now listed on Hive Exchange as a wrapped Hive Engine token. Yes, you can buy it and send it to the BSC network and swap it for something else on Pancake Swap. But keep in mind I am BUIDL and there isn't much LP.

If I manage to sell more SKIPPY I will use the money to provide more LP on BSC so you can keep coming in and out safely. Thank you to @Cryptomancer for all your help ensuring the contract worked. Also keep in mind you will need a small amount of swap.BNB for transaction fees.

As mentioned above I am building the infrastructure to go cross-chain and soonish you will be able to transfer SKIPPY from any network to Hive opening up the doors to an endless possibility. Important to note, I am not providing any sale services I am just getting it listed on other networks as the one meme. BSC will be the central location where all the exchanges pass through and then onto Hive because BSC is fast and cheap.

It is also important to note that if you HODL Skippy on BSC it is reflective which has been massively cut to 3% so you will need to set slippage to 4%. You will earn more memes and add more memes to the BSC LP automatically once trading there. Hive is not reflective so there is no need to set slippage when buying off the Hive Engine. Hive will always be the best place to get SKIPPY.

NFT SHOWROOM

Oh no not another NFT SHOWROOM right? I know what you're thinking and this is something I reached out to a few developers who were already working in this space to do a colab or plan something that could help.

As many of you know my heritage is Indigenous Australian and Italian and I have strong networks and relationships within my communities space and that includes Indigenous Artists. With recent news breaking that NFT Sales are being faked (most of us already knew) and the ever increasing barrier for first nations people in blockchain, I have some people wanting to develop an authentic Global First Nations NFT SHOWROOM. There are some corporate and Arts sector people interested in making actual art from actual artists into NFTs to display in arts centres around the world.

This was proving challenging for me at one stage but there is some movement in the development end and some more people will be jumping on in the near future. With that, I will be building it on Hive Blockchain due to the fast speeds and low transactions I initially sought going elsewhere (dumb idea I know) because I thought it would be easier but the more I play around in blockchain Hive is the better option. Plus it is what I use everyday (multiple times).

An exclusive Hive First

Building on that NFT Showroom I am also going to implement my IRL skills, networks and abilities to do something that someone else thinks they can do but might not that I can.

Bored Apes developed 10,000 NFTs on Ethereum and buying one gets you exclusive access to members benefits including an invite to a private yacht party on the sea. Sounds great but I doubt you're going to be able to fit 10,000 people on a yacht.

We'll I am going to do something similar and the development is underway but requires a Hive NFT Showroom up and running. I will in the future produce a series of Hive exclusive NFTs that will give people access to an exclusive event in Australia. Yup, the sun burned country.

Remember how I said I wanted to focus on Bushfire recovery? Well what better way than spending money hosting an event that generates income and stimulates the economy which can than in turn be used to fund more recovery! I plan on making the NFTs reflective nothing over the top possibly a 1% - 2% so that way if the NFTs moon once sold there will be an income stream being generated to fund the events and cover costs.

Obviously all that is being built will have benefits to SKIPPY HODLRS

All of this has been made possible so far through Hive Engine which is where you will need to go if you want to withdraw or deposit SKIPPY from Metamask to Hive Engine or vice versa. Just keep an eye on the LP on the BSC end as I will have to add it all manually from Hive Engine participation.

In other news, I am currently looking at also making SKIPPY a CW20 token and bridgeable to Terra (Luna) Network. I have learned how to create tokens there I am just fine tuning the bridge API that I am using and having some barriers. But we will get through.

HODL

I know that this is taking sometime to get running and a few people have been asking me... wen? but please note and I am sure we are all aware that Blockchain Technology is a new and emerging industry and I am trying to build a legitimate long term project that meets a need and that meets the legalities set here in Australia so that takes time.

At current I have burned through around $AUD20,000 some of it on mistakes for crappy marketing and some of it on devs who did a runner or just haven't started or finished work. As the saying goes, if you want something done right you need to do it yourself.

I am not too fussed because I will get to where I want to get to I always tend to if you would like to come along for the ride you're more than welcome to. regardless of the outcome developing right here at home (Hive) will hopefully see more people come across having a wallet address that is associated to a blog makes a world of difference and things easier to do especially when it comes to the project I am building.
