Twitter Partnership moves to enable trading
Elon Musk's take over of Twitter has been anything but graceful with almost weekly news articles ranging from the CEO's public tweets battling it out with current and former staff, to real life meme's of Elon making fun of his take over.
Most recently we wondered if Dogecoin about to power Twitter? as the famous blue bird logo was replaced by a picture of the worlds most famous meme token, dogecoin.
Elon has had a long history with Dogecoin and can be attributed to the meme coins success as back in January 2021 you could buy the token for less than a cent and it was readily available. Then Elon commenced tweeting and talking about the token and it's price soared to close to $US1.
While many tried to drive the price to $US1 there were many people who bought in through the hype and the news Elon was promoting, this resulted in massive losses for many investors as the token retreated to lower prices.
Twitter Moves into Financial Trading
Recent news reported by Forbes continues to keep Elon Musk and Twitter in the spotlight as Elon undertakes one of the first partnerships that bridges social media with online trading forming a partnership with Etoro and Twitter to enable trading.
The deal is still relatively new and not much information is currently available other than the move builds on top of the current partnership where users can use the $Cashtag feature and receive financial information about a small range of stocks and Crypto assets.
This comes as news that Twitter Inc no longer exists and has been renamed by Elon Musk to X Corp which came into effect in April this year and is a move by Elon to create the "everything App".

Elon marked the event by tweeting a single X showing his determination in continuing to build the everything app, but as Twitter continues to build will it be in the people's best interest? A single location for everything? an entire data bank of peoples personal information and activity?
Elon hasn't discussed cyber security protections he is building or plans on implemented to combat the treasure trove of information should the everything app launch and become successful, but it does call into question what will be there to protect people?
What are your thoughts, should there be an everything app?
