The precious metal journey has been fun for sure despite it being quite stable as of late. However, the recent noise around the banking system may definitely get us back to consider if we have enough hard assets in our portfolio given the potential for things to be the victim of inflation which is back as a risk for the first time in decades. I try to always be flexible and adapt so while the Gold bug got me, I only have a moderate allocation to the metals at the moment.
Crypto was the next bug that go to me and is still within my system. First it was bitcoin but it quickly evolved into the HIVE ecosystem and its ever expanding network of Dapps and communities. While I have had my ups and down within the ecosystem of Crypto, I still remain actively engage as one of my top priorities. This has also led me down the more entrepreneurial mindset which I feel is another bug that has caught me. The ability to combine these passions are opening my eyes to my potential future away from the Rat Race.
As I spent time with family and friends back home, it feels like the younger generation is well in advanced in this trend as well. Speaking with them, I could not believe that none look forward to have a long term career with a company or organization. Most are already looking at side gigs or starting their own business. I say good for them as I haven’t completely shifted to that side yet and given my age I often wonder if it is too late. The entrepreneurial bug is the next one for me on my list!
