This node running on phones was a hyped topic 2-3 years ago. I remember, any of the manufacturer even made phone for btc node running. If i remember well, even Ethereum had something like this. or just light? not sure. (and i don't know much about it) but it never really went big, or i missed it. (I don't see any revolutionary in it.)

I remember Ethereal being small enough to run on a phone or tablet, and it was supposed to democratize the ability to mine Ethereal, but it was combined with a move to proof of stake and earning by staking a large amount of ETH, so it didn't democratize ETH, it centralized it further.

I think something substantial has occurred with VSC:

I wrote a post on it joining with V4V.APP to allow point of sale purchase of goods with Hive/HBD via a transformation of Hive for Bitcoin via Lightning, so people could buy stuff with their Hive anywhere Bitcoin is accepted.
