It has a diameter of 40mm, the same as the American Silver Eagle. Only a few coins, like Korean Silver Chiwoo Cheonwang series and the Australian Swan series, can say the same.

On most of Vanuatu’s islands, unpaved roads link coastal settlements; there are few interior roads. Interisland transportation is by boat or airplane. Major airports are located near Port-Vila, near Luganville on Espiritu Santo, and on the northwest side of Tanna. Many smaller airfields are scattered throughout the islands.
During the last five years, the number of mints manufacturing silver and gold coins on behalf of small countries has increased. It makes one wonder how much of the money made on the coins goes back to these small countries.
