| Everyone knows him and connects him to a film "Back to the Future". But for the inventor it was a breakthrough that unfortunately backfired. A sought-after man at the car manufacturer Ford, but with his own visions, ideas and independence but with the low profit and many costs turned into a losing business. In the Technik Museum Sinsheim Germany (on the A6 motorway), there are 2 examples of the Delorean. A normal DMC 12 and a modified / replica from the movie "Back to the Future" | Jeder kennt ihn und verbindet ihn mit einem Film " Zurück in die Zukunft". Beim dem Auto Hersteller Ford ein gefragter Mann, aber mit seiner eigene Visionen, Idenn und selbst ständigkeit jedoch mit den geringen Gewinn und viele kosten zu einen Verlust geschäft wurde. | The body of the DeLorean Sport Car (often also called DMC - 12, although this was never an official designation, but an internal production code) consists of a glass fiber body covered with stainless steel. The wing doors are made entirely of stainless steel. The front and rear of the DeLorean are made of an impact-resistant, malleable, silver-gray polyurethane. As a special model, there was the DeLorean with a 24-carat gold paneled body. A total of three vehicles were built. It is estimated that around half of the approximately 9,000 cars built (1981-1982) have survived to this day. That the DeLorean became a legend is probably related to its appearance in the movie trilogy "Back to the Future". In this film, an active atomic electric drive works in the rear of the car, which supplies energy for the "flux compensator" that enables time travel. The vehicle shown here is an original DeLorean, which was optically adapted to the film. | Der Karosserie des DeLorean Sport Car ( oft auch DMC - 12 gennant, obwohl dies nie eine offizielle Bezeichnung war, sondern ein interner Produktionscode ) besteht aus einem mit Edelstahl beplanktem Glasfasergrundkörper. Die Flügeltüren bestehen komplett aus Edelstahl. Front und Heck des DeLorean besteht aus einem schlagfesten, verformbaren, silbergrauen Polyurethan. Als Sondermodell gab es den DeLorean mit einer 24 Karat Gold beplankten Karosserie. Insgesamt drei Fahrzeuge wurden davon gebaut. Bis heute, so schätzt man, haben etwa die Hälfte der ca 9000 gebauten Wagen ( 1981 - 1982 ) überlebt. Dass der DeLorean zur Legende wurde, hängt wahrscheinlich mit seinem Auftritt in der Kinofilm Trilogie " Zurück in die Zukunft " zusammen. In diesem Film arbeitet im Heck des Wagens ein aktiver Atom Elektroantrieb, der Energie für den " Fluxkompensator" liefert, der Zeitreisen ermöglicht. Bei dem hier gezeigten Fahrzeug handelt es sich um einen original DeLorean, welcher optisch dem Film angepasst wurde. |
